Arcade game art scans?

I was wondering if anyone had the control panel overlay or side art scanned from the turtles arcade game:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Teenage-Mutant-N...item5ad67bfba7

I know there are some turtles fans with some very extensive collections. Does anyone have this art that they could scan?

I'd piece it together with photoshop if someone had scans in pieces.

You'd probably be better off actually buying the art on ebay. They pop up pretty often.

heres one right now:

Are you after the Europeon Hero Turtles control panel overlay & sideart or the U.S cabinet. Also, is it for an original 2 or 4 player cabinet or a custom?.

If its the UK art I can help, although these things are impossible to scan since there is no way of fitting them into a scanner.

You can get re-prints that companys make but they tend to be on flimsy material compared to the originals.

Below is a picture of the my original UK cabinet incase you don't know the difference (I much prefer it to the US one).

This isn't exactly "arcade art" but the Japanese version had a neat little booklet and flyers that were fully colored:

I'd be interested to see some better scans/pictures of those, though I doubt anybody here would have a copy.

I own the manual, its shows how to take apart the cabinet, pcb prints and dip switch settings, no pictures, nothing interesting.

The flyers however are the first ones of that type I have seen, I too would love a scan of them.

I've only got this version of the Japanese flyer.

I think that the ones in the auction may be part of a conversion kit.

Thanks for sharing those pics, man. I've never actually seen good cabinet shots of the UK cabinet, so if you feel like moving anything around, I'd love to see some quality pics. Also, what do you like most about the UK version as compared to the US release?

I had seen the hero turtles cabinet on the KLOV website. I didn't know about that one until recently. I am going after the look of the art on the american cabinet...Its what I remember playing as a kid so it would be fun to get that art style incorporated into the cabinet.

Here is my cabinet. I don't know what the original game was, but it was a data east cabinet converted to a time killers at some point. I got it recently. I am going to convert into a mame cabinet, but I want to try to spruce it up a bit with some art. I have the jpac on the way now. I have an old 1.0 gig celeron laptop with a busted screen and 20 gig hard drive I was going to use for the hardware. The cabinet's monitor is performing well enough for me. If it burns out, I will switch over to a vga/lcd screen.

The problem with the original art is that it won't fit my cabinet anyway...I had to trim down the marquee to get it in there as it is, but with the side art, I'd end up cutting off the logo or something because the marquee on this cabinet doesn't push outward like most others. If I can't put the art on a big four player cabinet, I wouldn't want to ruin a nice NOS set. I was thinking if I could get the art I could shrink it down and do some side stickers like my cabinet currently has with the data east logo. I figured someone might have the art already since this is a turtles fandom haven.

I'd like to get a scan of the control panel overlay too...I'd need to photoshop out the button holes, character images, shrink it down, etc. Again, a NOS control panel overlay is $75 on ebay and I don't want to actually apply the overlay to my cabinet because it wouldn't fit...I would want to customize up the scanned art and print. I was thinking of making the four buttons orange, purple, blue, and red and getting rid of the top button with a new piece of plexiglass that doesn't have that one drilled. I may just end up with a piece of black vinyl for the overlay.

You know, I would even go after the flyer for the arcade game as seen below, do a nice 300dpi scan, blow it up, clean it up, and print side stickers from that...Like 11 x 17 or something...but I haven't seen this on ebay yet. If someone has this art and can get a NICE scan at high res, let me know.

Very nice, I can't think of any 2 player 5 button Data East games from the top of my head.

Here is my MAME cabinet. (its had more work done on it since, these are old pictures).

It was originally a 4 Player "The Simpsons" arcade machine (UK Model) but I gutted the machine, put a computer and 22" monitor inside, aswell as a X-Arcade stick (USB) plus 4 speakers and sub. It plays any game leading upto the Sega Dreamcast (when I get more RAM, that too). Also works as a jukebox and you can also browse the internet on it. Marquee is a custom design I made and got a marquee manufacturer to print it for me.

It runs off a Maximus Arcade front end, although I also have Hyperspin.

Since that pictures i've got rid of the 4 red button and the black buttons on the x-arcade stick are now a mix of green, blue, orange and red, there is also a proper bezel inside now.

I prefer the marquee and sideart more since it hasn't got a live action April on it. The sideart is a red bandana wearing Leonardo with April. Control panel looks alot cleaner too and I overall prefer the shape (since you can put other cabinets at its side.
Plus its HERO (aswell as the PCB version) and thats what I always remember playing in the arcades on holiday as a kid.

Yeah, someone did a conversion to turn it into a five button panel for time killers. There may be another overlay under the time killers one, but I will probably just add whatever I change to on top of that rather than trying to remove. I don't have the materials required to punch through the metal to add new buttons. I think if I did, I would add in the two more buttons for a street fighter set setup...we have a street fighter machine here at the office already so I don't feel like I am losing out too much if I do a four button set up on this one. That cabinet us running off the hyper fighting jamma kit still. We set the dip switches to free play for a quick throw down whenever we feel like.

If anyone wants a used time killers pcb by the way, let me know. Will sell/trade/etc

It needs to be put together, but I got it all scanned and each scan has been dropped into a massive 1.5 gig photoshop file.

So I have one side art, marquee, and the sticker art for the bezel/control panel in a conversion...still looking for a 4 player control panel overlay to scan.

I would be happy to share a .zip of all art once all art is completed if I can talk some others into participating by way of photoshop skills with fixing up my scans.
