Here's the opening of the series. I have to say that I am very excited about this. I like the style of the animation and I'm glad that most of the movie cast is back to reprise their characters

A TV movie, Baymax Returns, which premieres on November 20 will begin the series. Two full-length preview episodes of Big Hero 6: The Series will then be made available exclusively on the DisneyNOW app and Disney XD VOD. Episodes of the series will begin airing on TV in 2018.

The premiere was very solid. It was so GREAT to see these characters return. They are all still as awesome as ever! The animation worked very well even if it was different from the movies. The plot the series created that takes place around the time Baymax was reactivated was quite clever. The two-part episode even ended with the final shot that the film had. I can't wait to go on more adventures with the team.

Over the past weekend I watched the first two episodes on Saturday and some of the episodes on Sunday. I'm so glad to see these characters back in action because they truly are some of the most likable bunch of heroes. I just find it impossible not to appreciate how special and unique their personality traits are. The show itself is also very creative.

Not the show but I finally watched the movie and I remember it getting a lot of praise..It's not bad but it's ok, nothing special. Why all the hype?

Today it was announced that the series received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. I'm very happy to hear this because I've been watching more episodes lately and I've thoroughly enjoyed them.

Do the show spinoffs EVER live up to the movies? Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Big Hero 6...
I'm thinking not. Change my mind!

I have seen only one episode of BH6 but couldn't really get into it.
I actually like the How to Train Your Dragon one, well the first two seasons that aired on CN. I can't really say anything about the Netflix series. |
