Moon Landing: Faked or Legit?

So I just found out somebody in my life, who seemed to be a normal joe in every other way, is firmly convinced the moon landing was 100% fake.

So... what do you guys think?

I think conspiracy theories are the new "gay" in how people react to you.

Used to, in less enlightened times, it was shocking for you to come home and say "Dad, I'm gay."

Now, it's "Dad, I believe the moon landing was faked." Or "Dad, the Earth is flat."

You just kinda stare at the person with your jaw agape... is this a prank? Are you for real? Do you realize how big a disappointment this is for your mother and me?

I think this topic borders on what you believe in, more than what someone else says. A lot of people on our planet would say "Yes, we did", while the other folks would happily say, "Oh no - we did not land on the Moon. It's all fake."

Of course we did. Or more precisely NASA did. Most telling part is that at no point during the 60s and 70s did the Russians ever argue or counter that America had not got there, and if they were confident in that fact... don’t understand how anyone else could not be either.

Not really, it’s been bleached by the sun after a few years. It will just be white instead for the most part.

The astronauts put mirrors there. We can actually reflect lasers of it to test the speed of light. Apparently, it's not impossible to get the right equipment and do it from your backyard, though I'd imagine it's a bit pricey.
