My mom is out hunting for me and she found restocked wave 1 but no 2. She's in Florida.
I'm going hunting tonight in MO.

Those with BBTS pre-orders.

"We have received updated information regarding the arrival date of one of the items you currently have on Pre-order. The estimated time of arrival for the TMNT: Turtles in Time Wave 1 Set of 4 Figures (Collector Grade) has been moved from November 2019 to February 2020.

Agreed. These look amazing. I dont think many of us are comparing these to the OG style sheets.

I prefer B&R to be a bit bigger than the Turtles, as the final figures appear. More menacing that way!

I spent a good part of my day today checking every Target store for these. Struck out at 4 stores before finally finding them at the last one in town. (Fitchburg WI if anyone is interested.) Interestingly, the store had 3 each of the Turtle 2 Packs, probably 2 sets of Rocksteady & Bebop (one was already gone when I arrived) and no Foot Soldier sets. They didn't even have a spot for the Foot Soldiers. So I still have some searching to do.

Oh, a couple of other tidbits for those interested in which stores these may show up: this was one of two stores that got the sets the first time around. So that may be a good predictor of which stores will get series 2. And this store only has an 8 foot section devoted to the collectible toys compared to some of the other stores in town having up to 20 feet. So just because the section is small doesn't mean they won't get them.

I'm not saying they look bad cause they do look awesome but they are not accurate with 87's cartoon. Rocksteady was always short, similar height like the Turtles and Shredder should have been taller than these guys.

NECA's reps are suppose to put these on the shelves next week. This is to also coincide with the target.com availability. The only stores that have these on the shelf available to buy now are the ones where the Target employees are putting them out without waiting for the NECA rep to do so.

Don't quote me on this but I believe that chart came into effect in season 3. I think size-wise these guys are based on their appearance on Season 1, when they were bigger. I too would have preferred them a bit smaller (and without "cel shading"), but I can't say their height is inaccurate.

The guys at NECA have proven once and again how meticulous they are with screen accuracy, so I doubt the size of B&R are due to an oversight or "artistic license" on their part.

You are right about the scale in season 1, they were bigger indeed!(although if they based the design on season 1 Rocksteady should come with a helmet and an army pants)

As I mentioned before they look great I just wish Shredder was taller than R&B

I think the character size charts were probably for Season 2 (I see a lot of 1988 written on things), but Season 2's animation styles varied widely between episodes, so it was probably most notable by Season 3.
I'm humored by how soft and lazy B&R became as the show went on. In Season 1, they were attempting to strangle opponents, but by the CBS-run, they wouldn't dare get in a fight if they couldn't stand at a safe distance and fire their laser blasters.

I would definitely prefer NECA drop the cel-shading technique from future figures. It's a nice idea in theory but it ends up making the toys look a bit boot-leggy.
