outside of shredder and splinter which I want the gamestop ones more than the first ones. Shredder and Splinter are actually the only ones I want from the blindbox line but I don't use paypal so yeah no real way to get them unless they somehow pop up on amazon like they did for mystery minis

Is there any real differences between the toon and comic turtles? I am not seeing any when I look at the pics....

Mind you, I really like the cartoon repaints too. Especially Shredder. Personally though I already have so many cartoon related products, it was refreshing to get some comic based paraphenalia.

I do however like noticing the differences between the 2 sets of turtles. Not just the arm/leg band color difference, but the color palette they chose to go with for each set.

The comic set: all the turtles body colors match nearly identically to the Nick turtles except Leo (a nice little shout out in my opinion)

The cartoon set: liking the much lighter colors as they contrast with the head/arm/leg bands.

To reiterate once again. ONLY the GameStop special edition window boxed figures are sold at GameStop (4 turtles, Splinter, Shredder). These are OT repaints.

The blind boxed full set of wave 1 (4 turtles, Splinter, Shredder, Karai, April, 2 different foot soldiers, Casey Jones) are sold on the TLS website, collectors on eBay, and other stores like Kidrobot that carry vinyl figures. The blind boxed figures are based on the comics.

I've only managed to snag the red/gray Foot Ninja.
I'm not really interested in the black Foot Ninja, but I would like an April to complete my collection. Keeping my eyes open! If anyone has one for sale please pm me.

Also, judging by TLS' run with their very successful Transformers vinyls, they seem to be a big fan of exclusive repaint variants. I'm sure at some point we'll see a cartoon repaint of April show up eventually.

Other repaints that I predict: dark Leo, Slash,Mirage turtles, black and white turtles. This of course dependent on how well this wave 1 sells.

TLS just posted a deal for black friday. Starts midnight thursday (friday morning). 25% off orders over $100, 35% over $200, 45% over $300 and 50% over $400

Unfortunately, their shipping to Canada is insanely expensive. I thought I might order a case as the price would be knocked down to near $130, but shipping is an additional $40 and with the exchange rate that is around $200 CAD. At $12.50 a piece.. I may actually be able to find them locally for cheaper. I don't understand how it can cost $40 to ship a box of 16 3" vinyls. Madness.

Contact them directly and ask if they can do a better deal. They're postage costs are automatically calculated by the US postal service widget and are crazy high. My husband tried to order 6 blind boxes on their website which gave him a shipping quote of $154 to the UK, but after emailing them direct they cut that figure down to $20.

Game Stop site update for both TMNT and Transformers:

It said release day Nov. 21, on Nov. 21 they changed it to Nov. 28.
On Nov. 28 they changed it to Dec. 5.

Someone on FB asked about this and TLS replied with this:
"I think bc the shipment had just arrived and it takes forever to get to 4.5k locations. It'll be there soon".
