Lol I thought it was but wasn't sure. Fitting, too. I miss the old Muppet Show. Especially the Critics and Pig In Space.

Please feel free! I love helping other writers when I can, and also getting sneak peeks of WIP's lol. Heck I might have you help me with my latest chapter. Still having issues with the scene between Mikey and Corvus.

I'm one of those few people who actually loves wrapping gifts.

Also, between the ABC and NBC coverage of the Macy's parade I can still never figure out which position between the two channels views things first... Figured it was NBC and then ABC, but then I've always noticed that some things seemed to be the opposite. Clearly a teleportal of some kind exists along that route.

I spend the three hours flipping between three channels, because we see Philly's parade as well.

You're lucky. I missed the whole thing due to work. Was there a TMNT float again?

Yeah, they were there again. Was hoping and no mention prior or sighting in the distance, were just suddenly on screen, so glad I hadn't left the tv.

when you unexpectedly laugh at the end of 'night of the living dead'.

poor guy survives the zombie horror, and gets shot as he emerges from victory.

One of the best things to come out of humanity (besides stuff that actually matters)... those darn joke Amazon reviews. lol

Family friendly site so I'll just say it's a personal product that would be hard to store in the usual places. (Shocking that it even comes in 55 gallon qualities... ) This review pretty much killed me:

As UPS discretely unloaded my 55 gallon drum, the driver accidentally spilled it into my driveway. Any amount of cars can now fit into the garage.

I'm graduating next Friday and I feel like I'm floundering to get stuff done even though there's not that much to do left.

Maybe it's because of my attempts at printing going badly this morning...

stuck home t oday. might as well put the fake tree up.

it might be easier and safer than a real tree, but I DO miss the real tree.

I have a fake one, prefer to use them, they can be quite decent these days.

I miss real ones too. (Though I'm torn because I also hated killing them.) We prefer long needle pine, though they were getting hard to find for sale. We did find a small tree farm that had them, but only got maybe two there before we had to stop thanks to one of the cats.

Quite a few years ago, the very lovable but biggest dope among them went and ate the fur off of a toy mouse AND a bunch of pine needles from the tree. Which, aside from the fact that the pine needles aren't considered entirely safe anyhow, he ended up with them and the toy fur bound up together and impacted in his intestines and, after he'd become very ill, racked up a pricey vet bill for tests and ended up with surgery to remove it. His ass is lucky to still be here today.

Needless (needleless?) to say, we're off the real ones at least until after these cats... (Though with my dad gone I doubt real ones will return.) No furry toys (or with tails that can be eaten off) either. Out of a total of 9 cats over the years, he's the only one we ever had an issue with over the tree. (Or furry toys for that matter.)

On the up side my mom found an affordable fake long needle pine recently. Didn't even know that was a thing!

Have people stopped using the phrase “going steady” to describe being in a relationship with someone?
It feels like I haven’t heard anyone say that in forever.

I used it for a while with my boyfriend, until things weren't so "steady"

The only people I ever heard using that expression were in 1970's television shows. Maybe it's a geographical slang sorta thing, but in my 27 years on earth I never once encountered anyone in the modern world saying that, be it online or in "real life".

It'd just be called dating/together/a relationship/couple. I think "we're an item" was thrown around in the 90's & early 2000's still but not in recent years.
