This is absolultely the sort of product I want to support. I'll pre-order the 4k as soon as I can.
I haven't loved the recent DC animated films, but this direction is certainly more up my alley than anything else Nick has been doing with TMNT lately. Another screenshot: Last edited by AquaParade; 02-13-2019 at 10:55 AM. |

I was looking at the voice cast on IMDB and I noticed that Darren Criss who voices Raph in the crossover also voiced Raph in that TMNT short, The Turtles take time and space. I also forgot Eric Bauza voiced Leo in that short too.
I found a new pic

It's great to see some faithful TMNT designs in 2d. The Raphael image looks a bit better than the group shot, imo. It could really look beautiful in motion, if they have enough budget/time. We can't count on that though. The Killing Joke animated film, from a few years ago, looked terrible in motion. Either they learned their lesson there or they didn't. It's the most recent one I've seen. That said, we have to remember that this is the first of a Nickelodeon/DC crossover deal. It's possible Nickelodeon will have higher standards when it comes to the animation, or just that the production will be done somewhat differently than before. Guess we'll see. |

We have come a long way since the days of the questionably-legal TMNT-Batman crossover books of 1990s Russia!

The only one that looks ok is Leo, he looks like 2003 Leo. Others like Raph and Donnie look real off with that animation LOL.
I think Shredder would have fit the villain role better but whatever. Guess Rise would have been too baby ish to mix with Batman not that I'm complaining. |

As this was announced just before the New York Toy fair, that's on at the weekend, I wonder if there will be toys.

I think this has been suggested before to get a 2012 special. I think 2012 looks good with early 90’s bat. Maybe if this goes well we get something like that as well.

Batman, Robin, Batgirl and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all together in one movie! Sounds awesome! This is going to be a much better TMNT crossover than the one that happened on Power Rangers in Space. Great voice cast as well. Darren Criss did a great job of voicing Raphael in that short that was released a couple of years ago. Eric Bauza has contributed so much to the franchise, so it's cool that have him in this movie too.

To be fair, Warner Animation has made some real stinkers of movies based upon DC properties in recent years. Best never to assume anything prematurely.

It's interesting to see Leo having his swords traditionally instead of pop-culture Ninja way. I hope we see more of that in future iterations, cause it makes more sense.
