I've never seen any of the movies outside the first one. I was bummed when Arnold didn't return in Predators 2 so I never saw it. I also never saw any of the later or more recent ones from the 2000's. Are they worth watching?

I doubt you're being serious, but there's a grand total of 3. Predator 2 is fun, if not nearly as satisfying as 1. It went for more of a... comic book vibe. Predators was great, although way, way too many throwbacks to the first one (like, different characters saying the same lines, etc.).

AVP1 and 2 are way more Predator movies than they are Alien movies. Although they don't happen to be very good. If AVP1 had the teeth of AVP2 (i.e., not PG-13) it might have been alright. Likewise, if AVP2 had the budget of AVP1, it might have also been alright. It was neat to have a brief peek at the Predator homeworld.

Why wouldn't we? He met Shane Black to discuss it. Normally you don't do meetings with actors about the fourth installment of a series they haven't been in since the first one unless, y'know, you want to utilize him in some way.

I didn't know that, it's just that he hasn't been involved with the franchise since the first over 25 years ago.

Come to think of it, it is really weird Schwarzeneggar didn't become the face of the Predator movie franchise like he did with the Terminator franchise. The Terminator films can't seem to move on from Arnold, but Predator moved on right after the first one.

Seems so weird given how iconic the first Predator movie was too.

She's barely recognizable but yeah, I guess that's her. I'm kind of not her greatest fan, but whatever. And robot hand man from Logan replaced Benicio Del Toro. Lame.

It is kind of feels like we're back in 2010. You know, "Predators" is about to come out to revive the Predator franchise, and "Prometheus" is about to come out to revive the Alien franchise. Both were kind of missteps (though Predators was pretty cool, it just lacked a punchy ending... imagine if they'd made it to the Predator ship, escaped into orbit and had, I dunno, a shootout with other Predator ships while simultaneously fighting some giant Predator bruiser on board), but here we are in 2017... "Alien: Covenant" is about to come out and so is "The Predator." Maybe they'll get it right this time.

Very frustrating, if this is true. Schwarzenegger has no problem doing pulse-less movies like Maggie and Aftermath, wants to do a bunch more unnecessary Terminator sequels and a Twins sequel absolutely no one is asking for... but won't play Dutch again? Apart from King Conan it's like the only sequel he should even be considering, I don't care how small the part might have been.

Apparently he wanted a bigger role or he just won't do it. It was rumored he only had one line a the end that would set up another movie. If that was the case, I kinda side with him.

That's exactly what they wanted him to do at the end of "Predators."

Dumb... but I'm skeptical if this is even true.

Shane Black responded on twitter regarding the comments.

Me too... I spoke with him, I think it was that he didn't have enough to do. Enough presence in the film.
