Got to my mom's and met the kittens she's fostering. Even if they weren't happy about it.
Bubba met one and it went exactly as I expected. Bubba made "friend noises" and groomed the top of the head, while the kitten just made tiny hisses. They're like...five or six weeks old. Tiny.

We think he's a sphinx point.
He's certainly a lot less shy than the other one at this point, but he still doesn't like Bubba trying to groom him. I feel sad for both of them. One of these days, probably after I graduate, we'll have little babies that would be more welcoming of the attention. Though, Scooter was the same age as these guys and he was very glad for it.

 .They're really sweet kittens once you get them to settle down. I hope they'll be good for Bubba soon.

So the game went well. Or at least nobody died. Final score- party 1 goblins 0. But they were defeated by a DOOR LOL!!! By that I refer to the huge set of thick metal doors at the end of the goblin lair that can only be opened with a "key" which is a large claw on the end of the Goblin chief's scepter- which is currently on the OTHER side of the door in the hands of the goblin shaman! The ideas they were coming up with to try to get it open were really amusing. Everything from forging a new "key" to trying to burn through the door or lock with acid or fire. The barbarian in the group even tried to ram his way through. Ended up getting hurt for his trouble.
