What would you say is your absolute favourite thing?

No, I'm not talking about family members, your bf/gf, etc, so don't come ITT to tell us how much you love your wife and son. I'm talking about entertainment, hobbies, etc. basically. Like music, games, sports, books, cartoons, art, history etc.

I do love videogames and music but those are too broad of categories, so I'd say my absolute favourite thing is my football club, Benfica. Honestly, it's hard to explain to non-fans, but when you're really into sports and following your favourite team since you're a kid it pretty much becomes your favourite thing. Its wins make you happy or thrilled, and its defeats can ruin your day or week. No game, book, song, etc. has such an influence on my mood. This might seem absurd since it's the players and the coaches who win games and trophies, but it is what it is. I can't help but care a lot about the team.

Ofc there's specific games, bands, anime, etc. that I love; but it's a different thing. Following a sports team is basically like following a tv show or a property that never ends and has a different cast every season. Plus it's something you're loyal to forever. I might love Nintendo but I'll play and buy games of other companies and consoles. And I really like metal but will listen to music of several other genres. If my sports club ended tomorrow I'd stop watching football/soccer altogether. And no matter how well or poorly they do, I'll NEVER change teams. So that's my pick.

What about you?

I guess my favourite thing is the tv series The Fugitive. Intriguing premise - a man on the run going from town to town while trying to find the person who killed his wife. Great acting from David Jensen and Barry Morse whose facial expressions could tell a thousand words. A bit formulaic and dated by today’s standards, it was ahead of its time with covering a lot of issues and the show’s format influenced later tv series such as The X-Files. No other tv drama I’ve watched comes close to it.

Favorite thing of all? Hmm, that's a toughie. I guess if truly pressed, I would have to say it's Marvel comics. Ive always liked the old Marvel cartoons growing up, and had a few comics inherited from my mom, but when I was introduced to X-Men comics in high school, I fell in love with the artwork. But it was the ASM 9-11 tribute issue TPB that really got me hooked. I discovered how emotional the stories could be, and found myself amazed at the how mature and complex the medium is, compared to what most people assume it to be. So, years later, I have kept my love of all those fascinating characters, and here I am, still a fan of those stories.

Anyone who is fortunate enough to have married better say their spouse.

Having a day to myself without doing chores or yardwork. Any extra $$ to spend on myself that isn't for groceries or utility bills is also nice.

Probably just being able to find merch of my very niche interests.

Or anything regarding it.

I don't think I've been on such a 100 mile emotional high since last year when I found a trove of the original Bone comics on my birthday and was able to buy a bunch of them. Probably could go back and get more at this point.

Anyone fortunate enough to have married better not say their spouse. The question was "favorite thing." That's dehumanizing, man.

I am talking about the marriage itself. Not the way you imply.

Absolute favourite thing is in terms of virtual entertainment is the videogame Counter-Strike.

It is the single most timeless videogame experience I have had, enjoying it just as much now as I did 15 years ago.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

My absolute favourite thing? Geez, that's a broad question hahaha!

I guess it'd have to be Movies.

If that's too broad... I don't know. TMNT, I guess. Whereas other properties might leave me hyped or heartbroken on what happens next, I've reached a wonderful zen state with the franchise where I'm pretty much game for wherever it goes. It might not/probably won't be my cup of tea more often than not, but it's all good. I just enjoy seeing the turtles journey in pop culture. I mean, I've known Leo, Raph, Don, and Mikey longer than I've known any of my current friends. I like that they're still around

That's a tough question, I don't think I have one specific thing, just various things of about equal level.

The Turtles and genealogy are definitely two of those things I stick with or keep going back to and matter to me. Nature, trees... Unfortunately I don't have that much opportunity to be much of the outdoorsie type, not anymore, but it's certainly something I appreciate in a deeper sense.
