I am disappointed that this series will have 3 covers for each issue...
I honestly think they should have done an A cover, all in color and then a B cover, in black and white... A being a new cover and the b cover being the reprinted original cover.... I kind of hate the idea of spending $12 a month for reprints to be complete despite already having the entire original print run including the fan conclusion. Really enjoyed re-reading this series and just finished yesterday. Great work Andrew and company on the finale... |

But then, some of you like the weird Time Traveler trilogy in Mirage Volume 1, so hey. More for you guys.

I'm coloring Frank's covers and I saw the others when I got the PDF proof. Trust me. There are more than 3. It's more like 8 covers total

I'm sure there is, they've been going insane lately, again, with variants. The interior art has tanked, but don't worry, theres 37 covers!

I get what you're saying although personally as I see reprints as collections it would be nice to have everything as much in one place as possible which includes less liked stories. |

So happy its real about the Image conclusion. I have the fan made conclusion and yet Gary and Frank say its not gonna be exactly the same as that. Gary's even re-read the series and gone through his old notes for the final issues. Now to have to wait the 2 years just to get the 3 final issues is gonna be a pain. I wonder if I should re-buy/re-read the series in color? Thats the only plus and I always thought it was hard to read Vol. 3 because the art was literally only black and white. I mean if it had some duo tone shade or even the black/white/grey color tones like Tales of TMNT Vol. 2 series had it'd been easier to enjoy the art. My only gripe.

I just hope the coloring is good and not poorly done.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath. IDW reprint coloring has been nothing but atrocious.
Although, perhaps they're doing it with more care for single-issue reprints...?

Can't say I've been a fan of the reprint colouring so far. It either feels basic or takes the texture out of what the art could provide. First Comics did a great job in comparison even if they made some weird changes.
