"TMNT vs. Predator" -- artist search!
Read more about the project here: http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=34018
The only completed page so far: With Ryan Wilton bowing out due to his full-time job, we are left with a problem: we are down an artist but this is still a project I'd like to see through. Before opening things up to DeviantArt and all that, I thought I'd post this to some Dromers and see if there's any interest within the talent pool around here. Feel free to post samples of work below or links to your work for consideration.

We've got a lot of talented artists on here, but it'll be tough finding someone who can pull off something close to that style!

It needn't be close to that style. But something tonally similar, and of that level of detail and realism.

Wish I could help, though to be honest I usually prefer to see the TMNT meet up with super heroes, not ghoulish creatures from space. Good luck with the search!

I hope I'm not being an ass for just posting without having enough talent to enter the search, but I just wanted to say good luck, and if it pans out, I can't wait to see it.

I'm interested in trying out for this.
I'm pretty flexible in style and while not too consistently hyper-realistic in detail and more prone to draw in a cartoony style, I'm sure that you'll find in looking through my gallery that I can attain that level of detail. Especially when the story calls for it. Here's my gallery link: http://lordmylar06.deviantart.com/gallery/ Thanks for opening this up here on the forums!

Someone sent me a PM on this! I can't think of a project my style would be MORE inappropriate for. I think you need a Rob Liefeld or a Jim Lee type.
There are a million, million talented people on the Internet but, well, for example, the project I'm working on now takes me a full day to complete a page. That's a huge commitment to ask from someone if there's no money involved. I'm as big a Turtle fan as anyone, but sheesh! Still - good luck! Eager to see how it pans out! |

I haven't really done anything like this for quite some time, but here is some of my stuff.

I am totally up for this and have been wanting to do more heavier inks.
But my summer is pretty crazy and will not have any time for another month and a half.

You should just assign each person interested one or two pages, Andrew.

Out of the question. That would utterly destroy anything in the way of consistency.

It's going to be a little awkward if no one from the forum gets picked...

Good. Based on the strength of the work you've shown, it would be a crime if you were to settle.
