This movie had way more action then Age of Extinction, so I thought it was better then Age of Extinction based on the amount of stuff this movie had, It had a ton of military action, there is no after credit scene, but there was a mid credit scene.
Spoiler:
Quintessa shows up in human form

Look like it's going to bomb in the US. The first movie did better than this.

BoxOffice‏ @BoxOffice 19m
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT: $45.3M Domestic Opening Weekend / $69M Domestic Opening Week #Transformers5

Not sure if this good or bad for global.

BoxOffice‏ @BoxOffice 15m
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT: $196.2M Overseas Opening Week / $265.3M Global Opening Week #Transformers5

Even though this movie is supposedly Michael Bay's last in directing, don't be surprise if he's still executive producer in the other movies, so no matter who directs TF6 and the Bumblebee movie, Michael Bay will surely be hands on in those too.

The fast-moving gray metal clutter moves to one side, and another fast-moving gray metal clutter with a hint of red in it moves to another side. It's easy.

If, and I say IF, the bumblebee movie set in the early 80's goes ahead, does anybody think it'll be reworked as a reboot, with more g1 designs, with bumblebee waking up from the ark buried under mount saint Hilary, and the movie ends with the other tf's waking up in 1984, to start the war in it's proper time and place, and moving ahead with the franchise as a series of period pieces set in the 80's and 90's closer to the original cartoon?

Yes, I know it's fanboy-ish, but I could see them, desperate to get audiences back, tossing Bay and Bonaventura overboard, and pandering to nostalgia to get the $$$ back.

I think Bumblebee will look the same, He will just transform to a VW Bug.

As for the Bumblebee movie, the director of Kubo and The Two Strings will be the director for it, but I bet Michael Bay will still be the producer for it, and you know that he's pretty hands on with movies he produces, so not much the Director can do, Michael Bay will just watch the dailies that's been shot and decides if he likes the tone of the movie, if not, he'll force them to do some reshoots.

I think paramount might actually pull the plug on bay interference, this movie May actually be free of junky designs and terrible stories and explosions.

I doubt it, It really depends on whose in charge of the Transformers movies, I know Spielberg was the producer of them, and was the one who choose Michael Bay to direct, So its his call.

Throw in a large over-abuse of shaky-cam and you got yourself a movie!

Bay is sick of transformers, and has only been pulled back in these past two times by the studios and producers. I don't think they'll be begging him to come back again this time.

Looks like Spielberg and Bay are producers for the Bumblebee movie.

We shall see... Batman v. Superman caused a LOT of changes in how the DC movies in pre-production behind the scenes. This drop off is CATASTROPHIC compared to that. Even china is expected to turn in less. I have a feeling if the4 plug isn't pulled on transformers altogether, there WILL be a MAJOR shakeup. Everything we knew about the franchise is out the window/up in the air with this little disaster unfolding right now.

Those plans were laid before this disaster took shape, and I won't believe any article spin until the dust has settled from this movie greatly under-performing. If articles a month from now still read 'we're going ahead as planned', I'll buy it. Studios and investors don't like losing money, and the current direction just lost a lot of money.
