Bobby,

Apologies if this has been asked, but any chance of another TMNT/Usagi crossover, but this time done by the IDW artists/writers and set in the turtles’ world?

It seems like almost all crossovers are in Usagi’s world and/or are drawn by Sakai.

With art by Santolouco, pretty please!

We've talked about doing a follow up. If it happened, it would have to have Stan's full blessing, and I don't know how he'd feel about someone else handling the writing/art.

Seems only fair to share the creative control. He allowed Usagi to be animated in the Nick cartoon style, so hopefully he’d let someone else draw him (since he got to draw the turtles multiple times) and let him have an adventure on Earth. Him approving the plot is of course understandable. It seems like letting Usagi crossover can get only benefit him as the turtles are the bigger property. Here’s hoping!

Will you be at NYCC? I’ll be attending Friday. Thanks for your time!

Yes, I'll be at NYCC, though more of a vacation than a working show for me, so I'll only be at the booth sporadically. Feel free to say hi if you see me around!

I'm sure he could come up with the writers some way, to bring Usagi and his friends into the IDW TMNT universe

I would love to see how Gen would react, to seeing Rocksteady another Rhino.

Ive wanted to see that for years! Almost commissioned Sakai to do it this year but spent all my savings on seeing real rhinos in Africa last month.

This is more of a production question, but as someone who has helped create a comic, you would know. My friend and I are trying to create a comic of our own, and I was wondering: how far would you recommend we plot out the story? Neither of us can agree. Thanks!

from my experience, I'm treating mine like a TV show.

24 episodes = one season plot line. if I should be lucky enough to get it anywhere, let alone make it that far, I'll worry about the rest later.

I would recommend just concentrating on making issue 1 as good as you can. that's the one people will probably focus on most.

Same thing as with Usagi. Creator was a friend, they were doing a favor. Supposedly he was gonna have a cartoon appearance but it never panned out for one reason or another.

Ok, Thank you for clearing that up. Been wondering what the deal was with him for years.

Probably not a question for the IDW thread, regardless.

That can't be official. Shredder was already dead where this timeline places Batman/TMNT.

This is an entirely personal question! As much of a story as you see fit! In terms of pitching to a publisher, I'd say formatting it for a mini-series, (4-6 issues) with potential for more to follow if the first is successful is a good way to go. Warning bells always go off when new writers say that the series has to be 10 to 12 or more issues. That's too much of a commitment for an unproven series. But if you frame it like a four issue series, with potential for two more four issue series, that's much more agreeable.

It is not. This is doubling as a sales tool, so thus it was included.
