They'd be the same colors as the Elite Guard. There isn't a special black/blue squad 30 years later because IDW didn't know what to do.

I stopped by the same Target as before and they didn't have sh** again. Just Mutant Mayhem garbage. I didn't even see any NECA stuff at all there.

Plus, it makes me think NECA are more open to obscure characters. My personal wishlist includes Radical from #27 and the fishmen from #27. Kirby makes me think these also a possibility, however remote.

Sounds like Eastman reached out directly to the Jack Kirby estate to make this one happen.

Honestly, though, outside of what it represents, I think it's also just easy re-use for NECA, since the body seems similar (if not exactly the same as) the Mirage Baxter Stockman they're doing.

I would expect something like that, considering it's not just a character that's an homage to Jack Kirby, but also has his name and likeness. Sure, as a character, it's a one-shot obscure character, but I feel like having this get made has a lot more meaning than that. Especially considering what Jack Kirby meant to Eastman and Laird.

Also, it's cool that Jack Kirby once drew TMNT art, though I don't fully know the context behind it.
