Reminded me a bit of another episode I saw, but not the old toon one with the collector. I was thinking more of the Super-man one with Lobo.
I liked this episode, another one where they wrap up a villain's story, well in this case good guys. I also loved all the jokes directed at toy collectors. |

Pretty funny episode, way better than I thought it was gonna be. I loved the pikachu spoof, and Raph telling Serling that he was way too many issues for a robot
Any other comic geeks get the Secret Wars reference? |

Glad to see the comments aren't all negative this time. When they were first discovered on YouTube, everyone thought it was a lamer rip-off of a The Tick ep or something. Personally, I liked it. It was a decent balance between what they wanted Fast Forward to be and the dignified tone of 2K3. Since I had to miss it for an appointment, I can't go into detail since it's been a bit since I had seen it.

I thought this episode was pretty cool. I didn't expect much from it, but that was good for me because, in a positve way, it turned out different than I thought it was going to.
I guess, in a way, I had a personal connection with this episode because of the whole thing with the toy collecting.

Anyone else think that the Pokemon parody was just a giant eff you to Nintendo from 4Kids, since they won't let them do the dub anymore?

I watched it months ago when it was on On Demand! I liked the ep...the Doke Pals/Poke Pals/whatever....finally the TMNT kick Pikachu butt!
Notice tho that the final Shokanobo ep is next week. I thought that was gonna be the series finale??

doesnt anybody have any more original ideas? come on...the whole pokemon rip off was idiotic and totally lowered my opinion about the TMNT cartoons. that was lame o rama.
if this keeps getting worse when then "new" direction comes out, they might as well can the show...it's jumped the shark once, why do it again?

I'm not really PC either, and I do agree that parodies and rip-offs are two different things.
And regarding the jumping the shark- it is because many people want more Turtles. I am not a little kid anymore (technically) and I am certainly not an idiot (nor do I engage in stupid things either). But I love TMNT and 2k3 is my fave version. So it is not just young children who want more.

I wasn't impressed with this ep at all. I did like the Pokemon references because I thought it was a funny spoof. But other than that, this ep did nothing for me. I'll have to miss the next ep due to being on a field trip with my art class.

Warning:
I promise you, you want to set your VCR or DVR to record next week's ep.
