Living by a little historic train station, which I go past on the way to work, and this time of year I often get to see one of their old trains there. I don't get to see their over a century old steamers much (and two of the three of out of service right now - one has been under going a required inspection since 2013 and lasts over FOUR years!), but one of their two diesel trains, built in 1940, is often there during the summer.

The other day I'd left the house a few minutes late for work and was trying to hurry... then had to stop and wait for the train. lol I can forgive that one though. Kind of fun to sit and watch it cross the road, and luckily it's rather short.

I was watching the first Bay transformers film on tv with my dad and he is not that big into films and a pretty casual viewer, but he did pass off comments saying how he thought the Bayformer films were stupid and ridiculous. I don't know why, but that put a smile on my face.

Either that or they are total people kitties and will sit through anything for attention. We had a cat like that once. He was mentally handicapped due to inbreeding (seriously- he had a very short memory and was lacking in some other basic feline cognitive abilities too) but he was a total cuddlebug and ragdoll when it came to being held, picked up or in any way coddled. Including letting me dress him as a baby and put him in a basinet with a blanket. He didn't care he just liked the attention!

Yeah I used to be very against dressing pets up. But these are so cute. I wish my cat would let me at least dress her in a Halloween costume. It's only once a year.

Only times I ever tried to dress cats up over the years, they just fall over like "Omg, this is annoying..." lol Likewise, we presently have a very attention hungry "baby," with rag doll type personality, and even if he'd put up with it he'd likely still refuse to do anything other than lay down.

Lol. He just stayed in whatever position I put him in. And a longhair to boot. Big ball of fluff w a sweet temper and no idea he was a cat.

Dad finally got a speech therapist and an occupational therapist too. It's only temporary, but it's better than nothing. Also, my mom's biopsy that she had a few weeks ago was normal so no problems there and our Internet bill came a few days ago and I wasn't over my minutes. Makes me think it was Microsoft Edge that did it, but I've been staying off of FF.Net just in case. I do notice that when I read anything rated T or M that no ads or videos show up. I wish that would happen on the other stories too.

I'm BAAAAAACK!!!
Did y'all miss me?
(Probably not, but whatever)

These past few weeks have been loads of fun, but I'm glad to be back home and back on here. I went on a trip to California! I got to see family and enjoy the amazing food there! Not to mention the shopping.

This time around I went by plane. It had been like 8 years or so since I traveled by plane so I was pretty terrified. I was convinced I'd die on the trip and I even threw up before I even left my house I was so nervous. Nevertheless I survived the flight and had loads of fun. I visited Universal Studios, Moreno Valley, LA, Chinatown, Compton, all sorts of places! I even got to eat fresh fish and shrimp right next to the ocean. That was some of the best damn shrimp I've ever eaten.
I also went to a lot of cool stores and bought a lot of awesome stuff. Anyone ever been to Frank and Sons? That place is the very definition of awesome!

Here are some pics I took in case anyone's interested:

Honestly?
The news about there being a Ghostbusters/TMNT ongoing weekly crossover starting this fall.

I might have made a noise only dolphins can hear when I read about it.

One of my instructors really liked a portion of a project that I was nervous about. She thinks it's one of the best things I've done this semester.

And also the preview for issue 72. Krang's finally back ! (And talking like he has a Word of the Day calendar???)

Sounds like you had fun. You did miss some trolls around the place. Your name came up. And picture attached because I hate Photobucket still.

I saw that. Those infantile losers even trolled my visitor message page. Hard to believe what those worthless fools would do just to get attention. Not to mention their idiotic accusations.

Finally met my mom's new set of kittens.

And one of them is a bobtail ! The very first in our house. She's feisty.

They're named after Game of Thrones characters, apparently.
Tyrion (the smallest and looks like an alien), Daenerys and Cersei (bobtail) and Arya.
Bubba's met them too. Naenerys and Cersei aren't so sure but Tyrion liked him.

That said, what is with the "soft delete" option or whatever its called... Even if everyone else no longer sees it, why do I still have to look at it.
