That scepter was put up for auction back in 2004. The estimate was $2,000-$3,000. It did not sell. The prop was later offered at a reduced price on The RPF by an Australian collector named Aaron, who now runs a large Facebook movie prop group.

It looked to be in decent shape at the time, except for one broken claw. The top can be opened up to see the battery-powered light, wiring, and hourglass gearing. The prop measures 31" long.

HMS Creative Productions, the folks who made the scepter, have a couple more photos online (note the missing claw in the second shot): http://www.hms-studios.com/PORT%20TMNT.html.

Kinda strange Michele Ivey didn't jump on that one. Did they only make one scepter?
Pretty cool to see some more pictures indeed!
I'll post my new prop as soon as I have it!

Probably the expense. The Turtles heads cost her a lot.

OMG, they are in! My props arrived in the mail today!
It's a Footsoldier Dragon Dogi bandana and an armguard from the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I guess money CAN buy the honor of wearing the Dragon Dogi!

Great score! Any cool stories/history behind the acquisition?

So refreshing to see some new props! I'm in love with the bandana

How is the gauntlet holding up? Is it brittle at all?

Congrats on the new pickups Rutger!

Perfectly timed quote, love it!!!

Since I have contact with so many actors from the movies and the series I sometimes receive stuff.
(For example, the Sombrero, the SotO script and various storyboards) I got both the armguard and the dragon dogi bandana from actors who worked on TMNT (1990). As the biggest Dutch fan I could have them.
Quote: "I kinda had a hard time letting go of the item, but you are biggest most kind TMNT fan I ever met, Enjoy my friend."

Both are screen-used and are in great shape!

I still have a small chance of getting more from others in the future, so if that happens I'll post them here

Thanks buddy! I love the bandana to, it is such an iconic item in the first movie
The gauntlet/armguard is holding up very well, more then I expected. The border and the Kanji logo where painted silver and the rest black. The paint is peeled of almost completely, but the solid foamlatex is black as well. There are some tiny cracks, but the material is stil very rubbery and soft.
(I was wondering if there is a material that I can spray it with to keep it from deteriorating).

Tom Spina might be the best person to contact on preservation. He's a prop restoration expert with tons of experience in rubber/latex restoration-- including TMNT costumes. Best in the biz, worked on some iconic props.

There aren't many out there in private collections, either. Welcome to the club!

Awesome props, congrats!
It's cool that you were able to get these almost thirty years after the movie was released!

Thanks!! Yeah we're getting old, hehe.
But indeed, these props were fabricated in 1989, pretty old stuff.

Very nice! Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is only the third Foot bandana and the third arm guard from the 1990 movie in private hands. The others came from The Prop Store of London and Petie Waldrop.

I always found it interesting how the outfit was referred to as the Dragon dogi in the film, but the actual kanji written on the uniform, "oni," really translates to demon. That Shredder was a sly one!
