What happened this time? You always seem disgruntled here.

When an online friend you've known (only online) since age 24 (and is only a year older than you) turns 40... o.O How the hell...

Lol I know that feeling. I have an online friend I've known for years, and her daughter is now graduated and getting her own place. We started out as friends and fellow Mods at Marvel's forums when they still existed, and I watched her kid grow up via Face Book.

So instead of the item I ordered already being stocked by Amazon, it went from seller TO Amazon after purchase (okay I guess that's a thing that's done, though what's the point instead of shipping directly to customer?). So it went to a Kentucky Amazon shipping faculty, left there last night, and finally updated... at a New Jersey Amazon. Huh? USPS still waiting to get it. Can't say I've seen this happen before, switching Amazon locations. Maybe due to being a small sword? Do they shorten the time weapons are in the postal services hands as much as possible?

When the Sound effect in zepplens 'whole lotta love' reminds you of Bowsers Clown Face vehicle when it zooms in toward the screen.

For the longest time, I've been wanting to draw this with Shredder and Krang, but just haven't had the motivation.
Unless someone else has done it...

It's great when you can listen to the solo works of musicians from prominent groups & pick up on what elements of the collective are their respective contributions as individuals.

Two examples that come immediately to mind for me are Pink Floyd, & Yellow Magic Orchestra.
PF: When you peep a Roger Waters album, you can work out that he's the angst, politics, mental anguish, R&B/folk influence, etc. From David Gilmour you get the introspection, atmosphere, vocal harmonies, blues. Richard Wright provides the ambient soundscapes, emotionally provocative piano pieces, etc. Pink Floyd as a whole is very much the sum of those parts! YMO: Unlike PF, they're almost entirely electronic, being a trio of synth players. Sakamoto is abstract yet traditional (having come up on jazz/Debussy), socially conscious. Takahashi was the new wave sound, very hip & futuristic, lots of love songs. Hosono had blues/exotica bands in his heyday so he's all the bassy grooves, & relaxed loops. They pretty much invented the technopop or synthpop genre on a whole, alongside Kraftwerk, so it's especially interesting to see what got them there, & how they continued to help it grow as their careers/styles advanced. It's not that these artist's solo works feel as if they're lacking in any way, but they sorta sound like their groups minus two other guys, if that makes sense! You can really feel what it is they're bringing to the table when you hear them on their own.

Okay, so it's not a random thought, it just a random in general... But I Googled the word "panzer" and LEGO is the first/main photo example they offer.

When you know a word is spelled wrong, but you stare at it and at first just can't consciously figure out why it's wrong...

this site has maybe 13,000 members.
So how come only the same 100 or so regulars post regularly?

People come and go, or only post infrequently due to outside interests. I thought that would be obvious.
