Loved this episode, my two kids also really enjoyed it and laughed quite a bit at the visual humor. The fight scenes were very well done and I am really enjoying the fact that they are going slow with the story.

I've been workin every Saturday recently, but I've bought all the ones I've missed on amazon instant video. Really loving this show.

Excellent episode. One of my problems with the earlier episodes of the series was that many of the environments were indistinguishable from one another. LOTS of similar looking alleys and storefronts. But this episode really improved upon that with lots of visually unique locations like the noodle restaurant, Shredder lair, and rooftop.
As far as references go, did anyone notice the wall of Ric Flair "Obey" style posters toward the middle of the episode? |

No, I didn't catch that. What part of the ep was that in?

It's immediately after they trap Bradford in the trash can. Raph and Mikey drop the trash can and it rolls across the rooftop into a wall. The wall it smacks into is covered in the Flair obey posters.

Ah, okay. I'll have to see if I can catch that the next time I see the ep. Thanks.

Just watched this one (OnDemand is really slacking on getting the new episodes up), and while I've enjoyed each one thus far, I have to say it was by far the best of the first 8. The most action and the most funny. Loved it!

Finally we getting somewhere and instead of one-off stories we went into something more interesting.
As always awesome fighting scenes. I liked how Turtles handled Bradford and how Xeer reacted, when Turtles threatened him. Xever's fighting style was awesome. Also, nice reappearance of the Purple Drgaons, though they are definitely less threatening, than in 2k3. If they haven't been referenced as Purple Dragons, I'd thought they are just a generic thungs. Final battle near water tower certainly felt like a reference to 2k3 first battle with Shredder. Murakami and Mike's "tat" were nice easter eggs for fans of OT. Overall, very nice episode. |
