SDCC is in July, there's no way they will wait until then for a season 6 announcement. Wondercon is in March, a much safer bet for a season 6 announcement.

I'm pretty sure ciro said season 5 is the end in that podcast that talked about season 5

Thank you lullabystars

In today’s interview Ciro Nieli and Brandon Auman have confirmed that season 5 of Ninja Turtles on NICKELODEON … will be the last one.
It’s possible that the channel can still vary the decision or order a new show, but for now their decision is such. Current animated series ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ will end in 2017. It remains for us to see a total of 24 episodes.

I'm upset but in other ways I'm not. TMNT had a great run and it's time to come to an end.

Thoughts, opinions, what do you think?

Better it ends now than whenever it overstays its welcome.

The dream is dead. I wanted at least 7 seasons out of this show.

This is the saddest day of my life.

But now it's straight from the horses mouth, directly from Ciro himself. Before it was just likely but not a direct confirmation yet.

So sad either way.

That podcast was back in mid November...he said it months ago.

That's why it's been known for months.

My dream has been realised.

I wanted a great, dramatic and intense Ninja Turtles Vs. Shredder story arc ala Mirage Issue 1.

The series delivered. Thank you Ciro and Nickelodeon!

All I know is they better tie up most of the loose story ends next season.

April's mother, Newtralizer, and their promise to de-mutate several of the mutants who wanted to become humans again like Mutagen Man, Karai, Spiderbitez and whatever others.

As Nines said too, it's been confirmed for months. Get over it.

Well, this makes me sad... I was hoping it would last as long as the 2003 series at least. Think they'll ever make a movie based on the 2012 turtles?

I do think it's possible they'll have a direct to DVD movie. Nick does that with a lot of their shows.

Ladies and gentlemen, the five stages of grief by Cubed. We're between 3 and 4 now:

1. Denying the possibility of a TMNT television incarnation ending.

2. Breaking down in anger/frustration or lashing out against opinions that say otherwise.

3. Trying to think of bargaining methods so the show can be prolonged, whether DTV or something.

4. "This is the saddest of my life," he's now going to be upset.

5. Accept it and rerun the show at least once a year.

Okay, no more joking. I at least hope some kind of resolution occurs this season instead of shocking us back into status quo. Hopefully it ends on a triumphant note.

I just feel sorry for the kids of today. Seeing the TMNT cartoon they're watching get cancelled.

I went through it twice already when the original cartoon ended in 1996 when I was still a kid, and then again in 2009 when the 2k3 series ended in my early 20's. A part of me died both times, and now the Nick show is ending. Every time a TMNT cartoon ends it feels like a chapter of my life has been closed. The young kids of today, I hope they can cope with it.

Ah, but now you must open yourself to a potential new TMNT series.......a few years later. And when that day comes, it will be exciting.

No love for the Next Mutation?

Where was this confirmation every time I'd asked for it over the last three months?

This is a little mind-blowing for me. When the OT started, I was in elementary school. The show ended when I was in high school. Man I feel old. lol
