Doug. Did you manage to take a picture of the Shellraiser itself?
I have not seen hardly any photos of it anywhere online. |

Cheers mate. I thought I posted about those before. I think the latest UK wave is a mash up of US 2+3 as Rat King and Cockroach Terminator are also listed.

New wave seems to be available. Tesco are now selling Baxter and Snake Weed and Amazon are selling all five baddies.

Smyths online site say that Bebop and Rocksteady from the classic line are in stock, but I can't add them to basket, so I am guessing they are pre-order?

Showing as out of stock at my local store, I'm guessing they've been listed in advance. I had a long chat with the manager last week and he seemed to think that the new Classics would be on shelves around early September.

Baxter, Snakeweed, Rat King, Cockroach and Leatherhead are marked as in stock on the Entertainer's site too...

Has anyone been able to get ahold of the new blnd-bag figures?
Much like series 3 of Doctor Who character-building, they continue to elude me. |

Tesco Direct now have Rat King and Cockroach Terminator. I realise most will have gone with Amazon but I'm holding out since I have coupons and such. No word on more Baxter or Snakeweed and got an e-mail saying they've cancelled my stock alert for Leatherhead since they won't be getting any... Ok then. |

The 2k13 Mystery figures. There was talk a while back that they are out over here, but I've never seen any. Only the Fast Forward ones have been popping up.

Got my Snakeweed, Cockroach Terminator and Rat King.
Snakedweed is about as decent as could be expected for the design and I like that Playmates made the rest of the legs a seperate add on so he actually has some genuine height. It feels really dated that characters in the line are often out of scale. Cockroach is a decent representation of the show model but is let down by a terrible action feature. If they had some kind of push button saw gimmick, fine. But what you get is a toy with a hole in it and the saw on a ridiculously long stick that you wiggle about to simulate attacking....I think this might go the way of Metalhead's missile, with me cutting some off and glueing it into the torso. What a lame feature. Rat King is better than I expected. I couldn't tell from photos but he actually has three rats on his body. They blend too much into his coat but it helps sell him as 'Rat King' better than just carrying one in his hand. Sadly the hat seems to be permanent. |

One lone Leatherhead in Reading TRU, assume he's the remains of a new case.
Rescued him and he's sat on my desk waiting for 1345 when I can go home and free him from his cardboard and plastic prison Cheers, Doug

A quick heads-up for the handful of people here who live in and around Reading (UK).
I'd not heard of the shop Smyths before (as mentioned by several people above) but they are opening a new shop in Reading in October. It will be in the old Comet shop next to the Madjeski Stadium (it's a huge shop, unless they're dividing it up into smaller units which seems likely). Will be somewhere else to look when buying toys... |

Cheesebrush, think of Smyths as a bizzaro world Toys R Us - the stores are clean, staff are helpful and prices reasonable...
