Because I made her read The Crystal Skulls, one of my friends is making me read The Celestine Prophecy. Having a hard time getting into it.

Well, let's see... Finished three Conan novels as well as Mass Effect: Revelation (good read for fans of the game) and am now venturing back into the realm of Warhammer. I've started the first omnibus of the Gotrek and Felix series recently and am loving it. Some of the references are of German decent, making me mentally pronounce the words a bit slower, but all in all it's a great book.

Well, last book I finished was the comic Hard Boiled by Frank Miller and Geof Darrow. For the most part, it was pretty good.
Now I'm going through Cerebus: Volume 1, which is quite interesting. It's cool to see how Dave Sim started out. I just started that today.

I'm reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. It's the inspiration for Blade Runner and so far it's been really good.

Ring (Ringu) By Koji Suzuki, I'm only 60 pages in and I'm already enjoying it more than the movie. Picked it up for £2 new in a charity shop. Not sure why as the movie still gets me scared when I'm lying in my bed and I think about it (I also have that night-time fear of Aliens sometimes)
I got the fear on the bus when I was reading the first chapter.

Currently reading The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory.
Hoping to finish reading it before I go see the theatrical adaption (a made for tv mini-series came out in 2003 on BBC) next Friday that stars Eric Bana, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johanson (she plays the title character, Mary Boleyn), and Rhu McClannahan. This is the first book in the Tudor series which consists of The Queen's Fool (I have this as well), The Virgin's Lover, The Constant Princess, The Boleyn Inheritance, and The Other Queen (which comes out later this year). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Other_Boleyn_Girl

I'm currently going through One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey (the book came before the film). Since I'm alot smarter than my 8th grade self, I've noticed alot of small things that totally went over my head.

Currently reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in my English class and it's alright. It's kind of hard to follow sometimes, but I don't seem to mind.
I'm also kinda reading I Have Heard You Calling in the Night, which is a memoir by Thomas Healy. I like it so far.

"DC Comics - A Celebration of the World's Favorite Comic Book Heroes" by Les Daniels. I found it by chance in my school library and have loved every page of it. A brilliant overview of the entire time line of DC, both in the fictional plot lines and in real life.

Currently reading The Ruby Ring By Diane Haeger.
The book is about the scandelous (for it's time) love affair between Margherita Luti (a simple Baker's daughter) and Raphael Sanzio. Margherita's face is in all of Raphael's paintings, even his madonna's. From Wikipedia: Quote:

Fruits Basket 3. I borowed 1, 3 and 4 form the library.
They're certainly taking pride in their small collection of comics and manga (mangas?) there's pictures up on the wall, one of Batman, superman and the joker. And one of Batman and Catwoman kissing. Anyway, its awesome, theres manga now. I can't remember the last time I read manga.

I've been reading manga rather frequently lately. I mostly read it online, but I also have some in book format. I went to NYC a few weeks ago, and they have a Book-Off there. I bought over ten mangas (in Japanese) for a dollar each. It was a deal I could not pass up. Now that my Japanese is fairly average, I've been trying to read through them, with much difficulty. F*ck kanji. So annoying. The furigana doesn't help, either.

I read The Amazing Maurice and his educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett today, mostly in the bath (I know its a kids book but heck its the first Pratchett book I ever read, I had to re-read it)
I just started reading Hadley by Sarra Manning again. The second in the Fashionista books. I love Manning's writing. Although I only own 4 of her books.

In the middle of Bat Masterson by Dale White, which is pretty interesting so far. I think when I'm finished with it, I'll want to check out more biographies about cowboys.
