I never thought I'd see MK as a mobile game, but I guess it's not that surprising either. There's already Super Mario Run and Pokémon Go, so it was only a matter of time until another Nintendo series got the mobile treatment. Mario Kart is a very successful series, so it seems like a good option from a business standpoint.

Does anyone think the original Prime trilogy will get ported over to the Switch before 4's release? It seems like a good strategy to keep the brand going if the development cycle for the new one lasts long enough.

I believe you, but I don't see what that has to do with what I said.

Yeah, it'd be odd if there was an easy DKC game out there.

LOL, what? A Luigi's Mansion 3 has never been announced, previewed, or debuted by Nintendo in any way, shape or form.

How on earth did you think a Luigi's Mansion 3 would come out in Feb 2018 when this game has never been confirmed to exist in the first place? Do you think games pop out of thin air?

Luigi Mansion and especially Eternal Darkness were the two biggest GameCube games I've missed. Kinda odd for me to miss LM since it was one of the very earliest GC titles. Pretty sure it was a debut title even.

Wouldn't mind playing Luigi mansion 2 one day, but can't say it's a top priority of mine.

I missed out on Luigi's Mansion too, but to be fair, it took me a while before I could save enough money for an actual GameCube. I had games (preordered Wind Waker, for instance), but no console yet and would take my games to my younger cousin's place like once a week. I completely forgot about Luigi's Mansion when I was finally able to get one.

Anywho, I did get Luigi's Mansion 2 in the year of Luigi and it was fun, but I always hear it's not as good as the first one.

Luigi's Mansion just didn't feel like a full priced game for your latest brand spankin' new next gen console you had just bought on launch day. It felt more like a curious spin-off.

When the Gamecube came out I bought two launch titles Star Wars Rogue Leader and Super Monkey Ball and both those games were likely the better choices, I had so much fun with them. Smash Bros Melee came out like two weeks later after the launch so it wasn't a long wait to get some Nintendo action on my new nintendo console. I eventually bought Luigi's mansion many years later used but I don't think I ever played it.

On other news I'm playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it's odd, I owned this game on the Wii U and didn't feel like playing it anymore, i barely touched the DLC and I've already logged a ton of hours on the Switch version. It just feels cool to play it there even though I already had a tablet controller on the Wii U.

There is Luigi's Mansion 2 called Dark Moon on 3DS. I only played that game not the original and I find it to be very fun indeed.

Luigi's Mansion is great. It's a fun short game but considering it was a launch title in 2001 it can be expected. I must have beaten it 15 times from 2001 till now.

If we get Gamecube virtual console games on Switch I hope more people finally play it if they missed out on it.
