What's the deal with Micro Kraang Dome set?

Hello TMNT Gurus,

So recently Playmates released the Micro Mutants range including small sets of 2 mini characters and a vehicle. There were 2 waves, with Micro Kraang Dome (with Kraang and Casey) available in the second wave. But I've been hunting all over the place locally here in Australia as well as online internationally. I can't find anyone selling this set anywhere. Was it ever produced? Could you get it in the US but I've just missed the boat? I'm really keen to know what's up with these figures.

Here's the link to Amazon (sold out of course)
https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutan.../dp/B01MRUV59S

Does anyone know any info on these?

I'd sure like to know too, I myself was looking all over for it. I try to collect Kraangs because they look so much like Utroms from the original comics (of which I am a huge fan).

Also I read the title of this thread in Jerry Seinfeld's voice.

HAHA - that's the only way to read the title!

I can only assume that they were never released in Australia or at a minimum they were short cased or something like that. I was pretty quick on the stores when they had any of the Micro Mutant range in stock but I never saw this one.

The three sets that make up the second wave were released in the US. But they didn't really ship in great numbers. I saw them maybe four or five times and bought them two of those times. But with the line dead in the US now, unless you luck out and find them in a store that did not bother to clearance the old stock out, they aren't likely to show up again here.

I also thought of Seinfeld right away, lol!

I couldn’t find these whenever I searched for them in stores. However last Christmas someone surprised me with some. They found them in the wild. But only one of each. They think maybe it was at a Target store but don’t remember.

Seems like the second wave of these had way less of supply than the first wave. I still have never seen them. I would think eventually some would show up on eBay.

Yeah and unfortunately even less likely for them to show up in Australia (we miss out on a lot of toy lines). We will never see the larger vehicle playsets from this line.

I bought a stack when they were on clearance but still haven't seen this one anywhere (even on eBay).
