Nothing new, and not a single figure was sold (and kids have vacation this week)! Maybe once the movie is out they will sell better? |

Messaged Mega Bloks who are distributed by Matell in Austria to hopefully get to know more about the current TMNT situation in europe. Waiting for their reply. 2013 toys or not, toys in europe are simply super short at hand except the nick figures so we got to get to know!

I was at another Bart Smit store today in The Netherlands, they had a very small TMNT section with two (yes, two!) movie figures.
It was Leo and Donnie this time. |

If I recall correctly a Bart Smit in Amsterdam had almost all the movie figures...
But why can't I still find a Mondo Gecko?

I'd love to move somewhere outside the US, but this distribution seems horrible there. And I need TMNT figures.

I've been visiting the same Bart Smit store for three weeks now, and still not a single figure had been sold!
Action figures really don't seem to sell well over here in The Netherlands. |

Same in Spain. Despite christmas and the start of the summer hollidays the figures are in the shelves week after week. We just don't have "toy culture".

Toy culture? Yes, there is but it's mighty different, especially because collectors seem to prefer to be for their own rather than enjoying groups. I recall situations where I have had friends or coworkers over at my place and besides them being totally fascinated by my figure-packed shelves most of them added "Yeah I remember those from when I was young [short pause] but they aren't as cool as they were 20 years ago". |

Finally found the Out of the shadow basic figures in Spain, only Bebop and Leonardo were available but better than nothing. The figures are really cool.

Cool! Just the regular figures or are the deluxe figures/vehicles available in Belgium now too?

What stores do you guys have in .be/.nl/.wherever you are located at? Over here it's Toys'R'us and some other local small chains that either don't have TMNT figures at all or only the most recent ones in a small count.

Over here in the Netherlands there's Bart Smit, Intertoys, Toys XL and Toychamp.
There's also Toys R Us (just the website, no stores). |

In Belgium we have Dreamland, Top 1 Toys, Bart Smit and Fun.
Dreamland and top 1 toys are pretty decent. Fun is usually the worst when it comes to (tmnt) toys.
