Love both of them, didn't like Annabelle all that much. I really hope that supposed lawsuit with the Conjuring movies gets sorted out.

Been watching "Wrong Turn" films. just finished movie 4. Cheesy hillbilly fun.

Gonna pick up Hatchet trilogy. Gonna study Micheal, Jason and Victor so that my slasher novel is just right. Thinking of a killer named Jeremiah.

Just saw Sinister 2. While I didn't feel it was as good as the first, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. Certainly didn't think it should have gotten the steamroll'd negative reaction it seemed to have been subject to.

it's a slasher flick. They aren't particularly good to begin with.

Don't forget Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon.

And, of course, the Scream movies.

Are the Human Centipede films worth watching? I heard they are more so disturbing and too gross for anyone to watch.

I only saw the first one. I watched it alone, (which was my mistake) and thought it was boring as hell. Maybe with the right crowd you can have an enjoyable commentary on it but as a single-viewing experience I thought it was boring.

I'm gonna say yes. Haven't seen the third one yet, but the first two are a-ok.

Odd how Chucky was able to survive where Jason and freddy couldn't. Instead of these expensive reboot to an audience that doesn't care they should go the DTV route, they are icons with huge fanbases, they just aren't the mainstream movie goers. Their time has passed but that doesn't mean those IPs aren't worth money.

Give some directors a low budget and have them make awesome Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street sequels like with Chucky. The fans will get what they want and the franchises will stay relevant on halloween for licensing products.

They're mostly dumb. And not all that scary. I mean, it's kind of hard to be scared of (light-spoilers kinda)
Spoiler:
people being stitched together ass to mouth. The concept is incredibly ridiculous.

These films are recognized more for being incredibly disgusting than for being scary.
I recommend you stay away from them. Trust me.

Saw the movie "the good neighbor" yesterday. I feel like that movie is what "don't breath" should have been
