I didn't know this existed, I got excited really quickly but looking at it I'm not so sure anymore....

so this is a card game? the "generations" of TMNT is a cool idea but not as a card game, and Ludia is a terrible developer that only cares about getting money from microtransactions.

Nah it's ATB combat. Think something like a watered down version of Chrono Trigger's battle system, if'n you're familiar with that.

Watch some YouTube vids t'see if it's to your liking.

So after like ten months of deleting and redownloading this to see if my phone could run the newest version without crashing after the tutorial, the Mutanimals update did the trick! I can finally play this! Just started off and it's quite a bit of fun so far! Good, wide selection of characters and really scratches that turn-based RPG itch I recently scratched with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Can't wait to get a bit deeper into it so I can start unlocking some of my fave characters!

Great!

I'm pretty pleased that my less powerful characters can now get some points in the Chimera event! I can now actually earn VQ DNA again. The update seemed to also smooth out a few glitches.

Did anyone notice that since two updates ago, Leo's common attack move has changed? It's not as smooth anymore. His spin is a little jerky in it, it seems to me.

I think I spoke too soon. I couldn't win the Chimera challenge's VQ DNA pack tonight. Weird.

The game/ap is becoming rather annoying. Like twice a day it's alerting me that it's got updates, or has some new feature. It's worse than a nagging ex-girlfriend.

Ok

I'm so sad that the 4-hour challenges are impossible to win. I have a pretty high-leveled team 12 guys at 60 or higher, and still can't even get close.

Also, I spun a tournament wheel this morning and got my first epic duplicate. I'm disappointed but still got great rewards from the pack, I guess.

They're not impossible I've found, but you have to play them twice (as they have quick refresh times for used characters) and you need a lot of characters at roughly the same level (so I've got most of mine at around lvl 50). I found if you raise even 1 character too high, it ups the difficulty across the board and makes most of your other characters kinda obsolete.
You also need enough characters at roughly equivalent level to do at least 4-6 teams.

That said, some of them are horrendous challenges anyway (looking at you Leatherhead)

And epic duplicates are a pain in the arse. But at least you can cash in the extra covers for tcoins now. Not much consolation, but still.

I have 5 characters at level 50, 10 characters at level 45, 15 characters at level 40, and 3 characters at level 30.

What sucks is when the tournament matches you with players with way higher levels then you, which result in you losing the match.

So what you guys are saying is that making a few characters really high in level really hurts your chances in these challenges. Dang it! I guess it'll be awhile until I excel.

I found out the hard way.

I went all out to try and get Shredder covers and managed 4 stars worth. (that was a lot of grinding missions against low level minions...anyway). So as soon as I got him I tried to max his level, however I found out Very quickly that as soon as he hit level 52 the difficulty for almost all missions was going up. At level 55, it was high enough that almost all my other characters were now almost useless.

I gave up at 57 and I'm paying for the consequences of it now. I'm having to go back and slowly up all the rest of my roster to an equivalent level.

So I caved in and bought a "Pile of Greenbacks" to get the T-Coins for a Item purchase, and I only got the Greenbacks... WTF!

is it me or did the price of the bronze star and 2 star silver get raised today?

Edit: nvm. I see what I was looking at. I'm not used to these partial mark downs on these two packs. It's usually always 50% that I see for them.

a new update has been released, and it's Easter themed, and with that, new characters were added, Bebop and Rocksteady dressed up as the Easter Bunny.
