Project Playmates: The Toys That Time Forgot

So looking back on SDCC 2013's Playmates Panel there were several toys, etc that were not released this year and I thought this would be a good time to bring it up. So which of the scrapped ideas are you most disappointed we never saw? Am I missing any?

Ooze Canister w/ Figure Blaster

The vehicles will most likely be released with the next season as they are Kraang tech and the turtles venture to Dimension X.

Definitely the shell cutter for me, but the collector is impressive also.

I hope you're right, Sir. It would be a shame to think Playmates dropped these awesome designs yet went ahead with crap like the Shell Copter and water-squirting nunchucks.

Yeah, The Collector has a Foot symbol on it, but it has an insectoid design to it and the pilot doesn't look like your typical Foot soldier. I'm wondering if maybe there are/were plans for ScumBug?

Kind of makes me think that they just announce this stuff to get us excited, but never really put effort into producing it.

All these kraang vehicles. I hope they are just holding off til we get some dimension X adventures. Most of the vehicles in this line so far have been just toy only.

A part of me hopes Bebop has a floating convertible based off that sweet Foot Cruiser from the 90s line.

Since we're headed to Dimension X could The Collector be for Antrax?

And the Foot symbol on it is a 2k3 version... ??
Could Karai be starting her own faction?

I totally forgot about these. I've learned to have short-term memory with Playmates' reveals. I would've loved to see all those vehicles. Personally I don't think anything is gonna come of "Casey's Zamboni" from this year's SDCC either.

You know what this is a pretty decent thread. You should include all the diffrent reveals that never were...

Thread title changed. I'll get to work on that as soon as time permits.

Halfshell Heroes Donny has a Collector type vehicle.

That Shell Cutter looks cool but also painful for both the target and the rider.

Thanks. I have at least a couple more posts worth of stuff, but I'm trying to pace myself. Don't wanna blow my load too early.

These look to be from the later days of the original line, where the designs got less edgy and more cartoony. We usually only see sketches from the early days of the line, so nice find!

Thanks! Can I get some stars up in this piece?!

I love seeing the one with the red editor's notes after they were submitted for approval like Mercenary Mouse where it simply says "NO".

Yah I agree with Casey's Zamboni probably ending up canned. Was the Shell Flyer ever released in stores? The Mutant Wasp figure also seems to be canceled.

Shell Flyer was certainly released. I remember passing on it because it looked like junk. It's available on Amazon and various other places.
