Suicide Squad Movie

This may be a little early to get into, but with the recent confirmation of Jared Leto (Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), will smith (dead shot), Tom hardy (Rick Flagg) and cara delevigne (enchantress) I'm extremely psyched for this movie. To me the suicide squads always been a neat idea, and the characters are always interesting, to say the least.

What are your thoughts?

I'm disappointed about not having King Shark, but it seems pretty cool so far.

Jared Leto always turns in a great performance so I'm really interested to see what he does with The Joker - I'm sure whatever he does will be terrific.

I really enjoyed Jai Courtney in A Good Day to Die Hard. So him being in Suicide Squad sparks an interest for me.

Nonetheless, I am also very psyched for the movie, it is going to be a long, but well-rewarded wait for a movie with such potential.

Yeah that actually makes more sense than having Joker in it. They really don't need Joker at all, except to establish his existence in the movie DCU because they're using Harley. Having Joker but not having Deathstroke seems very odd.

Fresh Prince as deadshot is the best casting choice ever.

My theory for why they chose to add joker is that he'll be an atagonist to the team, probably something like Assault on Arkham

Those are some nice fan posters. Altho I would prefer if it was CCH as Amanda instead of fricken Oprah.

Every time I watch CCH on sons, I couldn't remember who she played, so I just called her Waller.

That would be as godawful and horrendous as that last Joker poster with the stupid emo flick hairdo.

Oprah, Viola Davis (currently in How To Get Away With Murder) and Octavia Spencer (known for her role in The Help) are the current canidates to portray Amanda.

Of those 3 I'd go with Viola. She's a tough cookie. Octavia's a good actress but I think she's too young. Oprah is well...Oprah.

Viola Davis has reportadly been cast as Amanda. Course this news is coming from Latino Riview so it's iffy at best. But they're probably right so who knows. But hey at least it's not Oprah.
