it's possible these will never be sold in the USA (except from importers like BBTS) due to Playmates licensing deals. So once they feel they made enough for the Japan market, that could be it. Have they already reached that point? *shrug* |

^ you guys are lol.
yes, Michelangelo the party dude is burning one.. actually, (as seen in the unboxing video) - his box had a tissue paper wrapped around it.. when I was messing with his alternate head sculpt, his 'happy eyes' looked strangely familiar to me and t'was the first thing that came to mind.. lol, so i rolled up the tissue and let him have at it.. pizza and all. kind of funny though because the tissue paper is actually burning when i took that picture.. and quickly. i had to stamp it out before it ruined the figure. |

That's dedication right there. Anyways, I cannot wait for your Donatello review. I want to know what your favorite figure is out of the four. I thought Mikey would be my fave, but I think it is a huge let-down that he has such trouble holding and holstering his nunchucks. Also, they forgot to include his kusarigama. I know he doesn't use it that much in the series, but Donnie came with a bladed version of his staff. I think that these figures are great, good enough to where I spent almost $200 on them. However, for around $50 each or more, I expect everything to be included and work well. The nunchucks not fitting is such an amateur mistake. The other three turtles have pegs on their weapons, why can't Mikey's? (Now that I think about it, if the nunchucks were bigger and had pegs on them, they could not fit in the holders) (not that they fit that well to begin with) All this being said, Mikey will be the first turtle I will open. I really like the freckles for some reason. They make him look so cute!

Guys I need some help with HLJ, the part with the Order Handling option, should I go with Order when available or go with Private Warehouse?
With Private Warehouse I can't select the shipping method but this part caught my eye "Consolidate shipments to slash your shipping cost!" But since all 4 turtles are already available will it make any difference in shipping? Or should I just go with Order when available select the shipping option and just get it over with? Appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Private warehouse is handy if you order several items at different times. Allows you to stockpile and have them send you your items all in one large order. Theoretically reducing the amount you pay for shipping many items at different times.
If everything you want to order is currently available use the order when available. |

For any UK peeps out there...
I ordered Raph from Play Asia. Figure was £30, shipping £10 and there is the possibility of a £15 import charge too (can't confirm, haven't received the figure yet, although it has now been shipped). After a tip off in this thread I then used Kapow toys to order Mikey. £40 plus £3.50 P+P. When I have the cash I will definately be buying the other 2 from Kapow. UK based, no hidden charges and I also asked some questions via e-mail and they were very helpful, friendly and quick to respond. In summary - Kapow seems best option (UK) so far to get these figures. So excited waiting for Raph to arrive, all the pics posted on here are awesome. As others have said, believe these may be some of the best TMNT figures of...ALL TIME! Will find out soon...

Well well well!
Today I just got my Leonardo and Raphael Haven't openend the box as I'm waiting for my display glass cabinet to arrive also this morning. First time in Amiami.com and my package was in Madrid in only 4 days, so if you live somewhere with an efficient postal service, I'd recomend it to anybody. Unfortunately I live in Spain so I had to wait 10 more days due to the custom boureau lazyess. Figs look terrific, it will take me a lot of time to find the perfect pose for each one in my upcoming cabinet ^o^

here is the Revoltech set up at Yodobashi in Akihabara..
It's kinda cool seeing these figures in the wild. ..surprisingly, there was no Raphael on the display shelf or on the storage shelf behind the cash register. {@.@} |

I'm so pumped on these turtles revoltech figures, I can't wait to get mine. Shipped out from BBTS yesterday. Should have the four brothers by next week.
While I wait for the turtles to show up I found a local seller with the revoltech transformers. I picked them up last night and had a chance to play with them for a bit, and learn how the revolver joint works I smell some crossover photos soon Last edited by Darrylb; 10-10-2014 at 02:00 PM. |
