The limited animation from DC really doesn't do anything for me.

Did you ever see the Ruby Spears Superman?

I mean it's kinda weak, and MAYBE they'll keep it comics-accurate, but I'll be surprised if they fully Go There. I'll be thrilled if it's super-accurate, but we'll see.

I mean kids DO still watch these things, even though they're ostensibly aimed at an older audience. Parents don't care, they see "super-hero cartoons" and they buy the DVD for their kids, especially if it's Batman.

Like I said, Hush wouldn't be great as a "real" movie but it'd be great as one of these things. Public Enemies was really just "Superman and Batman vs. Everyone", and it was terrific, one of the best they've done. "Hush" as an animated feature would be no different, just an excuse to do Batman vs. his entire Rogues Gallery. There's a time for Story and a time for Fan Service. I've never had any problem at all with Hush being firmly in the latter category. It would look great as an animated feature. Since it sold huge numbers I have no doubt they'll get around to it one day.
I agree. I know Hush gets a lot of grief, but it's still a really neat little story that has a lot of Bat's rogues' screwing with him. EVEN SUPES IS IN IT
Also yeah, totally checking this out.

How is Hammil going to have time recording his lines for this when he's constantly across the world filming for Episode 8?

He probably already recorded them. It's common to lay down vocals before you animate.

Yeah, I honestly don't know why that's there.

Better video here, no random flashes: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x41...oke_shortfilms

I wasn't really looking any more forward to TKJ than I have any of the other DC Universe DTV movies. But that R rating has my curiosity peaked.

And you know even with the R rating, stores like Target are still going to incorrectly place the DVD in the kids section.

Yes and what if someone put Heavy Metal, Fritz the Cat, Watership Down, Wizards and Ninja Scroll in the kids section of a movie store?

Holy Arkham... have you SEEN THIS!?

That is straight up the scariest Joker I've EVER seen. I can't wait to double-feature this with Batman: Under the Hood...

Maybe if you ever read a comic in your life, you wouldn't be in the dark woods all alone at night all the time.
