I saw the toys tonight at Walmart. They had everyone but April.

The figures look great--it's too bad the show itself is so terrible.

Do they look exactly like the cartoon of which they based? Thats the only criteria here.

One thing I would say with the Donnie figure is it is a shame that his opaque clip on back accessory only fits vertically. It would be good if it also clipped in *horizontally (edited: not vertically!) so that you can replicate the flying pose (the one where April is kinda 'riding' him). Think the designers missed a trick there.

I wonder what the 4 figures are that you're getting with the $15 membership? From the description, it sounds like some some kind of variant on the 4 turtles, which is amazing is very cool in my opinion. But $15 seems very cheap, so who knows.

It’s the comic con turtles.

Guess you missed the longer part of my post where I talked about the toys. Your comment carries far more negativity with it. I'm sorry, truly, that I touched a nerve.

Pffffff!

You're the one bringing in your negative opinion on the show, we don't need that in the toy thread when we already have enough of it in the Rise section.

This seems too good to be true. I will believe it when I see it.

Stopped by Target today... everything was EXACTLY where it was a week ago. Like, nothing moved an inch. You can tell what's what by the placement of the price tags, nicks on the packaging, things like that. The exact same figures that they put up to start with are still there.

I wonder if this area just doesn't really dig TMNT. I doubt it's because of "Rise"; as I've mentioned, this one store did lousy business on the Nick and BayTurtles figures, as well. But I thought after a week and change they'd sell a few, since other places are apparently moving them.

The WalMart by my house definitely doesn't have that problem. I'unno what they started with, but when I went there the other day their TMNT section was full of holes and only had a very small number of figures left. I don't think they're selling the Lair, though; they didn't have a space set up for it anywhere. I was curious to see if it'd be cheaper than at Target, but it looks like they're just passing on it altogether.

I often wonder what kind of effect regional demographics has on these things. Like I said, the store by my house seems to be moving them fairly well. The one by my work, nothing. It's very strange.

Still no lair at my Walmart either. If anything, maybe ours will just get it in for just Christmas? May be right on the regional demographics, or it could also very well be based on a store's history of selling TMNT products or figure/play set stuff in general. Mine still only has a small section for TMNT, not nearly what some other stores sound to have set up with that display cube packed full.

Come to think of it, while the section my Walmart has is about the same size as 2012 had late in the series, 2012 at least still had three or four times the amount of space when it was young and mid-series.

edit: Btw Kohls' website has it a little on sale for $107.99

Just picked up Michelangelo's Shell Hog cycle and I love it! Really love how it connects to and launches from the Turtle Tank! Really looking forward to picking up Leonardo's now!
Video review coming very soon!

The next batch of Turtles are storage shell variants, and two new characters.
We get the Foot Lieutenant and Albearto.

new stuff

These storage figures look gimmicky.
are the rest of their gear hidden in the card as I only see 1 weapon for each turtle but the pick shows a bit more.
Albearto and the foot guy look good though
