Random TMNT recolors.
Blame Andrew...now I've got a bug for recoloring TMNT images, taking Mirage all red bandanas to the multi-colored version and vice versa. So I thought I'd start a thread, and as it's not really fan art since it's just slightly modified official art, I wasn't sure I should post it there, so I put it here. Move it if you see fit.
Here's the one I've done the most recently:

The TMNT:The Movie one works very well with the all red. Would be interesting to see a version of the flick with the masks colored all red.

This is a great thread, as I've also been doing this lately. Gonna have to post some of the ones I've done when I get to my computer.

I gotta ask, how are you doing these? Obviously with photoshop or a similar program, but what exactly is the method?

For mine, I created a blank layer in Photoshop. Then I changed the blending mode to
hue and painted the colors over the originals. This retains all the shadows, etc. and only changes the hue. |

I use paint shop pro and choose the hue setting in the brush menu, choose the color, and just draw over the color you want to change. But when making the different color bandanas red, I sometimes have trouble changing Donatello's bandana.
