My First time reading 114:
But overall I thought this issue was okay if you pretend Mona Lisa doesn't exist. Last edited by Dejablue; 02-11-2021 at 03:06 PM. |

This issue was another clusterf*ck.
I really wanted to like it but a couple homages to SOTO & Tokka & Rahzar getting some "screen" time should have been great but it doesn't make the issue good. Please raise the bar. Make Turtles Great Again. 2 years of sh*t stories about whiny garbage. |

Just read this issue. I thought it was fantastic. Loved bebop and Rocksteady, and apparently Tokka and Rahzar are babies. But they grow way bigger in the future. I just wonder how big because they are big enough at there age, But the adult versions of them are probably gigantic.

It was better but that really doesn't take much with the way the last 13 issues have been. Know what I mean? I read the positive posts on it here, read the issue & it just didn't so sh*t for me. Even the donut thing. If this had been a pre 100 issue and had Tokka & Rahzar and that scene, it would have been epic as all hell but it wasn't.

With that kind of behaviour, it might actually be a good idea to put them down with a shotgun.

Also, WOW, that's awful.

That is definitely the worst Mona was been depicted. At least with last issue it was understandable that she was on a high from her parents that she lashed out but was calm after someone else got hurt.

Yeah Mona is written so awfully in this story I'm almost hoping its on purpose. It is pretty tragic. She is doing a good job at being the poster child of "why comic book fans hate progressive characters". When they are written to be whiny and inconsiderate like this, it is hard to deny the animosity towards them.

I do feel like there is another shoe that drops here, say, if the protest walks right down the street where T&R are rampaging. The protest was mentioned in the last issue, so it’s an ongoing plot. But yeah, she comes across bad here. Nice outfit though?

That is likely. But it would make Mona Lisa look like less of a bitch if she heard this from Mikey, and decided to go to the protest meeting area to call it off, where she and the protestors get to meet Tokka and Rhazar first hand.

Oh, she'd find some other way to look like a bitch... Considering what the notion of "peaceful protest" entails for someone like Mona, she'd even be happy to see that Tokka and Rahzar already got it off to a great start with all the property damage they've caused.
