Looked into it a few different ways and it's sounding very, very bad toward it being a fake thing.

Eh, while it's probably correct, the article doesn't actually indicate any proof. "Hemsworth, coincidentally, is a Tourism Australia ambassador" <--- that's the proof the article gives. We already knew that and, while it's concerning, isn't definitive proof in and of itself.

Hmm... so yeah. Kind of not a question of whether it's fake now, but how it's fake... and to what end.

The kicker is that interest or not in this may actually get... some kind of movie made. This might prove to be incredibly smart.

That's kind of the feeling I get. If these fake Dundee commercials continue making the big viral splash they are and strikes some nostalgic franchise nerve, why wouldn't a studio throw 30-40 million to make the real thing?

Are the Crocodile Dundee movies worth watching? I always wanted to watch them as a kid since I loved crocodiles but never did and when I was a teenager/adult they seemed like dumb old movies.
