Not quite though.

Aska was actually based on Mitsu from the 3rd movie.
Lotus I think was closer to Karai in that regard.

Besides I think it’s pretty awesome to have all of the Tournament Fighters in the same game.

I miss the element in the game, but thrilled to see the Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang and Krang clones as generic villains.

Turtles Forever did not get the Turtles right. So were the evil pizza and banana people neccesary?

I am sorry, but I took offense to it like " my turtles fight non-violent pathetic "threats". I wanted to see Rat King holding up city hall not something that did not happen. It's an old sore spot related to the '87 version not being portrayed well outside of its series.

Ohh my gosh, this is beyond awesome! I am astonished at the range of characters in this game! This is very similar to the cast that I have planned for my little TMNT project's expansions.

This is such a cool love letter to the classic games. I just have one question, is there any way to play this multiplayer?

i really hope they add more levels in the future. if anything add them to arcade mode. you could have to use the van to blast the barricade to unlock a new section, or a few under water levels using the turtle sub to get there, hell the dam level would be epic if done right. a zoo level'd be cool too, you could have dr el as the unlockable character. for a mid boss what if you brought back the plant monster from under the sewers, had them deal with a shrunken level and beat shredder while avoiding a crowbar , or climb a skyscraper a few floors to destroy omnss. i know i'm just basically listing episodes but there's so many good ideas/levels out there. hell what about a movie theater level? you could even have it be a black and white level where you have to beat monstrex. you could unlock the universal monster versions of the turtles.

I hate to break it to you but the Turtles are fictional none of this actually happened.

Haha, glad you found this, Benton! I had thought I should probably send you an email if you hadn't already. Did you discover that all four Punk Frogs are playable once you beat the Swamp level?

I did and love it. What game was the swamp taken from? Not a TMNT one I know, but something else.

First heard about this last week. Tried it for a few levels today. What a labor of love!!!

The map screen was a real surprise. Totally awesome throwback.

The selectable skins for April (based off playmates toy colors) was a fun surprise.

Can’t wait to really sit down with it.

QUESTION: total noob question here. Can I set up a controller within the game’s options or do I have to map the buttons elsewhere in Windows?

You can, but a number of people have had issues with some controllers so you may have to work around that with Joy2Key or something.

I Went to control options but don’t see anything related to my plugged in controller. Maybe my laptop isn’t recognizing it automatically?

go to controller one and before even opening the game have your controller plugged in, in the controller one option you have to manually enter the controller buttons.
example jump is k
hit enter and you change it to blank, then hit the button on your controller you want as jump
example jump is now triangle/button 8 on my ps4 controller.
now go through the rest of the buttons first hitting enter on your keyboard and the inputting the buttons on your controller. that should take care of it.

Earlier today I downloaded the Logitech program that allowed me to map my buttons and save it to the game’s exe file. Well, I did that with MMPR. I’ll try your method with TMNT!
