The trailer looks great, but thinking he needs to have the dead, pale skin thing going on more regularly. Unless the reveal (per Bloodshot canon) is that much of what we saw were memory implants where he perceives himself to be still be "normal".

It'll be PG-13.

https://www.comicsbeat.com/bloodshot-pg13/

---

“It is a PG-13 film,” Shamdasani confirmed, “Beyond hearing that it’s PG-13 vs hearing it’s R, I don’t think when anyone goes and watches this movie, they’re going to feel that there’s a gear that wasn’t there. There’s some intense stuff in this movie, but I think Dave and Vin and the whole team have built a movie that is very much…” (At this point, he turns to Hivemind VP Brand & Content Strategy Hunter Gorinson for someone else’s description of Bloodshot as “a house on fire rolling down a mountain of dynamite.”)

He then continued, “There are intense moments that feel very much like that. I can say that personally for me, there’s no regret of, ‘Oh, I wish we had R. We could push it a little further.’ I think this is the movie we intended to make.”

---

Bullsh*t.

The movie is about a soldier whose brought back from the dead and used as a weapon. Doesn't that remind of you a certain movie?

Universal Soldier

Even though this is based on the comic.

If we're making valiant comic movies I want Turok or Manowar,

The Valiant IP's were split from copyright many years ago and the original Gold Key characters were picked up by Dynamite. So you won't ever get a Solar, Turok or Magnus Valiant movie with any kind of Valiant continuity.

The original "universe concept" for these movies had a deal that was penned in this direction:
Bloodshot | Harbinger | Harbinger Wars

But then Sony somehow lost the rights to Harbinger to Paramount, so now everything is a mess.

I'd like to see an X-O flick as well - Conan the Barbarian becomes Iron Man. The good news though is that Bloodshot is a direct story and canon tie to Valiant's Rai character, which really is their best IP - especially nowadays. So if Bloodshot does well I think it would be amazing to get a Rai flick. Imagine Alita Battle Angel meets Bloodshot meets the Matrix.

Sony has decided to release the movie Bloodshot on digital early. Because all theaters are closed for 6 to 12 weeks. and that movie just came out last week.

There are some real mixed emotions from the Valiant Comics guys at Valiant Fans. I've posted there for.... a very long time now. Those are generally pretty good guys over there and some hardcore comic collectors.

But with that said, I will also say that the guys who seem to like the movie are sort of the "never say die" Valiant guys. These are the guys who, at a job, will say everything is "great, great, great!" in response to any inquiry even if everything is not great, great, great. Sooooo......

The other group seems fairly disappointed. I'm not seeing much along the lines of "it was pretty good - a new franchise is born!" and I'm not seeing much from the "It's great!" Crowd that I believe.

I haven't seen it, which is wild because up until DMG bought Valiant, I've been a fairly hardcore Valiant collector for literally 30 years now. Even if there was no virus issue I might not have seen it. I'm a fan of Bloodshot with hair and a lightening bolt cut into it rather than "Baldshot".

I'm only somewhat familiar with valiant because I love Turok and he was part of their shared universe in the 90s so I familiarized myself with some characters. I was not interested in this movie whatsoever until I read some reviews that were good
