Got the new chapter done, and posted today! Have to leave for work in a bit, but I'm happy, since I got that out of the way. I was worried I might not finish or get it up in time, but Mikey was a VERY cooperative little turtle last night! He likes the attention, I guess.

Had an hour or so to kill before work, so I popped up my LIS file and went at it. Got almost an entire page done, and already, my "new" book on ninjutsu that I found at the library book sale came in handy for a fight scene! Bojutsu fighting naked against Saki, with Mike's life on the line..... Things are about to get interesting. A hot bubble bath when I get home, then back to the story!

My happy-maker- had the day off- on PAYDAY!- so I went out and got some errands done today. Also, hubby's aunt sent us a 500$ check to help with bills, which is a BIG help right now with his meds and all. Did some shopping for basic stuff, and while I was strolling around Wal-Mart waiting for his prescriptions, I found the LAST copy of the Death Note series. Had to snap it up, as these DVD's don't last long around here. Would've bought the Cowboy Bebop one they had, too, but.... Not enough cash for both. But I was in the mood for anime today anyway, and I've never seen the second half of the series, so this really made my day!

Tuesday was our 15 year anniversary. Awesome games as gifts, had dinner at the Chinese buffet, then went to see The Avengers. There was some other stuff too but you don't wanna hear about that.
