The Futon Critic just updated the site with upcoming episodes so it looks a lot more clearer now.

Looks like episodes arn't going to be aired in order and Nick is airing Mystic Mayhem again on the 17th. Also except for Monday, looks like they are just airing one 11 min episode a day.

Did they just write them on cards and throw them at a scheduling board and see what stuck where?

Maybe the lack of much continuous storytelling makes it not matter so much, but if someone keeps up on what we've seen or not that kind of creates an unnecessary headache.

Just one 11 min ep each day is kind of annoying, I hope that isn't their plan to stretch it out as much as possible the whole season. On the other hand, if it stays Mon. - Thurs. like that, while that sounds kind of nice like back in the day after school... well that's the equivalent of getting 2 half hour eps a week and possibly longer hiatuses since they'd burn through them faster. Maybe they might actually go back to letting them own a ~~half hour~~(

) 15 min (edit: 11 min) block and put on repeats if there is no new one?

Maybe because it doesn't really matter? Most of these eps are probably self contained. The only ones that needed to be in order is the first episode and the first one with the Foot Mystics, and they showed those in order.

I still have not felt like finishing even the first episode.

I just don't have the energy to watch stuff anymore that I know isn't meant for me.

I caught the first ep, if I judge it for what it's meant to be then it does that well, it's something I can likely enjoy watching with my children taking it for what it is, just need something else for my TMNT fix.

Since the first episode it's been relegated to background entertainment whilst exercising for me. It's a mildly amusing distraction for 10 minutes but sadly nothing more than that. Still planning to see how the first season goes but if it doesn't get any better I might just switch to a 2003 re-watch.

Not really for me, but I sincerely hope the kids enjoy it. I still have IDW and maybe the next show will be more to my tastes.

I much more prefer the Splinter that is the Kung-Fu Master Who Appears To Be A Bum Movie Trope, over the Splinter who choked Raphael with his tail for sneaking out.

We'll see... What little we've seen -- to be fair not much to go on -- has kind of had an air of possibly being a little abusive himself, albeit maybe more emotional than physical, but that's no better. Hoping it doesn't really pan out to be that way.

I was watching Repo Mantis again and realised that the pickup truck driver that drops off Mikey and Don at the woods is the same guy/goat mutant from Newsworthy who Warren Stone paid a visit to. I wonder if he'll crop up more.

I love this new Splinter already. I still stand by my fan theory on Twitter regarding him possibly being a mutated Lou Jitsu. It got a 'like' from Eric Bauza who voices both characters for what its worth.

He is a freak anyway and IWILL KILL HIM TOO! No Hamato Yoshi/Splinter can escape from me! Do you know what this new Splinter did to me? He didSomething even worse than what the previous splinter(2012)! I and him met in the Foot Clan schooll. He was a new student where he wanted to join the foot! And when he enter the bulding and met me the first thing he did was to attack me! This mean that it was all a trap! He pretended that he wanted to be trained on nijitsu and to become a Foot Ninja but all he wanted is to kill me. When he entered the dojo to begin his training he screamed SHREDDER!!! and attacked me! He said that my family killed his parents when he was a baby and because of that he grew up on an ophanage. And since iam the last Oroku Saki and he is the last Yoshi he decided to kill me while personally i havent done anything to him! But what a monster he is!
