They probably wanted to sneak Gordon in but didn't have good dialogue, so they overlaid a line from Alfred. It's pretty common for trailer editors to invent conversations like that.

Because everyone complained (rightly) that they showed too much with Doomsday in the BvS trailer so they're trying not to "spoil" Superman's return even though we all know he's coming back because BvS set it up & he was in the first poster lol
He'll probably be in later trailers as we get closer. Hopefully they won't spoil the actual return moment but Superman was one of the most criticised parts of BvS so they need to address that in the build up to the movie to reassure people they've fixed that problem. |

The trailer? Nothing specific but the dialog felt flat, the action generic and nothing about it excites me, in fact the worst parts of BvS was this whole JL set up and this movie is based on that. |
