Hopefully we all get our shipping/tracking notifications soon.
Yeah, I was unaware. I’m just getting into the new collectible stuff. Had the original playmates stuff as a kid (all of which I miraculously just recovered from parents attic) and now my kids are into them. I was floored when I saw the Neca toon stuff the first time. I’m really looking forward to cartoon slash figure.

Got my Slash in yesterday! (Switched my order to Megalopolis City of Collectibles because I got impatient waiting for BBTS to get him in. Lo and behold, they finally get their shipment the day my Megalopolis order gets here. Go figure. )

As my very first foray into NECA TMNT, it's an absolutely lovely piece and probably the best plastic representation Slash has ever had. Just handling it and feeling the heft and quality of the material on hand as well as fiddling with all of the neat superfluous touches (like his rotatable shoulder pads) impressed me quite a bit and made my eventual purchase of the Toon LH/Slash pack practically written in stone. It feels amazing to finally get a collector-quality figure of my favorite TMNT character after so long and he's the video game-based figure that I never knew I wanted.

Hmmm, upon closer inspection, actually, my left shoulder pad seems to be coming loose. (The right pad doesn't seem to budge at all.) It's still hanging on, but it's still something to be wary of for all you others buying it.

Hey, does anyone else's slash have loose blades on the gloves?
I don't know if it's loose or it's actually movable. Only 1 of the 4 is tho.
Can't mess with him too much, i think it's gonna break off.

I wish the 1990 Slash by Playmates had looked as good as the 2020 Turtles In Time Slash by NECA. I would have picked up one for my cousin. The 1990 Slash reminded me too much of Igor and I don’t think that is what Playmates was going for.

It’s too cartoony looking for me.

Same for me! He's one of my favorite characters and I loved his figure as a kid and as a collector now.

I'm just glad these aren't Target exclusives. I have them all and can't wait to get these especially Baxter.

Very interesting being able to compare Super7 figures to Neca, with such close release proximity. Both are awesome, but I'm starting to appreciate Super7 for the more seamless joints some of their figures seem to have.
I'm willing to sacrifice a healthy amount of articulation for a smoother sculpt. The real "playability" for me comes from accessories, for the most part.
That said, Neca has a lot of great accessories.

The colors and the Turtles themselves come from the original Turtles In Time arcade side art. I believe the Baxter image is supposed to be the character reimagined as a mascot-style costume to match the Turtles from the original art.

I would totally be down for some of the unique characters from the console releases. Probably the natural path of the line once the arcade releases are complete.

Baxter is triggering my OCD real bad... it's HUGE.
Now I can't line them up together.

I also just realized it's a deluxe figure because
look at the text at the bottom, says it comes with a flight stand.

Deluxe??
Kinda funny because baxter is the cheapest one I paid for of the 3 in the first pic.
