Fan Comic [Roughs]- Dooney style!
Here are some comic pages I drew a while back. I wasn't trying to make a full story, just trying to emulate Dooney's art in Archie's TMNT Adventures Mini Series.
Somehow I accidently made the far left panels flow together to the extent that it looks like the plot of TMNT Adventures 25! I'm not surewhat I was emulating here. Just trying an old toon style on the plot of Mirage vol. 1 #2. Cool pics. But just a little bit of a suggestion here, try to reduce the size of 'em cuz they are a bit too big to follow and see the whole thing. I must say you did an awesome job with April and the punks. Everyone else looks good as well, it's just April and the goons were my faves, very Dooney.

I'm still not satisfied with my Turtles. I've seen so many styles of TMNT that I just can't decide which way I like them best. Their hands and feet usually give me no end of frurstration! Also among my artistic peeves... forearms!

Ha yeah as a kid I hated drawing humans I always drew their legs too damn small. Especially women, I never know how to go about their um, assets. As for the Turtles, I like to mess around with different styles, but I usually draw them as a hybrid of OT and 2K3 turtles. My peeves are the feet, because they're so easy to screw up and distort.
thanks for the size reduction, it's a lot easier to see now.

Very good Adam Luv it, I think you should do your own strip! Dooney Style
Btw, when did April talk to Baxter? That wasnt in the pilot. Personally I dont find the Turtles forearms the worse to draw. Their heads are hell to draw!, as in they dont make any sense. especailly when your looking up at them from a worms eye view. |

Good job, i agree it's very dooney-ish (i'm not so familiar with his art but i recognise his turtle's heads), love the krang in page 6 too.
I'm not really one to be saying this, but if you want a suggestion you may want to try making the lines a bit more smoother & loose |
