Favorite songs relating to Love (breakup music counts too)

What are some of your favorite love songs, breakup songs or anti-love (if that’s a phrase) songs?

I recently heard this song.

A classic one.

I never knew Dave Matthews covered that song. I had only ever heard Cash’s version. Cool. 😎

I very nearly thought about posting this one, because as you say A FAR SUPERIOR video.

But opted towards the original one, because I thought it important to show the artists.

Having said that: THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ON THE INTERNET.
And, thank you for sharing this!

It really is amazing; I'm glad it's back on YouTube after repeatedly being taken down back when it first came out

Anyways here's some other songs about love or break-ups I love

The Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Kanye West - Love Lockdown
Bobby Darrin - Beyond the Sea
The Kingsmen - Louie, Louie
Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Tale as Old as Time by Angela Lansbury. Also liked the new take on it by Emma Thompson.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

This entire album. It's been my broken heart band-aid since the very first time.

I was mostly familiar with his Christmas music. Had to go Youtube some stuff. That is definitely some laid back break-up music.

Well, it said relating to love and so I will embarrass myself with a few mushy ones.

I have been playing 'Perfet' by Ed Shearan today cause I downloaded it and liked it.

'Amazed' (Loan Star I think) often sang along loud and badly to it

It's in this moment that I realize...Howard Ashman has shaped a lot of my favorite love songs.

Primarily:
Suddenly Seymour

Beauty and the Beast

And, while it's technically part of the soundtrack, the Beauty and the Beast finale counts in my book and it's a glory to listen to.

Just all the swings of emotion. The opening with sadness to heartbreak, to mystery and hope, to a goddamn swell of utter triumph.
It gives me so many feelings, man...

And to close my Beauty and the Beast spiral...
Evermore

I'm not sure if it counts as a "breaking up" song, but it's close enough.

This is in Danish, but from what I can tell from English translation, it's probably a love song.
Velkommen Hjem (which translates as "Welcome Home")

Of course there's going to be more, but these are just off the top of my head for the moment.

EDIT:

Aha!

First heard this on the Australian drama "Offspring" and boy does it ever fit the every pairing on the show. Even the one that the song was originally attached to even though they've split up (for the better, that relationship was basically doomed).
I'd put it on my wedding soundtrack one day, myself.
