Yes I would like a receipt. In case these get bootlegged (which Figuarts usually do) that's my proof of when and where I got mine

Ah, finally a proper comparison pic of Figuarts vs Classic Collection:

Taken from http://thefwoosh.com/2016/07/bandai-...rtles-leonardo

Seeing them side by side really highlights how much better the Figuarts ones are. I can't wait to get them. As has already been said, the colors in these photos are off because the guy's camera isn't working properly.

The SH Figuarts one is a perfect example of how the Classic Collection from Playmates should've been.

I bought two Classic Raph's over a year ago. Wow did I regret it. 30+ points of articulation and quite a few of them is just bad (loose and wonky, can't even do a normal sit down and chill because hard plastic front shell, etc). Not to mention the eyes and dull paint job. Well, at least his sais looked good. It's something...

Sure, but remember that the SHFs are 3x the price. I actually think the Playmates classics stuff is OK. For $20, you get a decent figure that is markedly different from the main line. Annoyed they canceled Shredder and Krang, however.

That's true. But in this case I care less about the price because the ability for great poses is more important to me. And yes, the Playmates ones are okay, but not more than that.

Their Bebop and Rocksteady looked better, though, imo. Even if some hated that they did not look like they did in the original cartoon. And a Krang version would have been even better. Yeah I care a little less about articulation and paint job on the bad guys.

The Classic Toon figures was subpar figures not worth $20-35, so glad I sold them off.

I kinda wish these were bigger. At least matching the size of the Classics.
Was this on purpose to show their size? Or will all the Figuarts be this size?

I think the size is perfect. Scales so well with other figures

I too think the scale is perfect. I believe FigureArts takes scale into account in which case, unlike playmates, Shredder or other characters would be taller then the turtles

In my experience with SHF (the star wars line) they all hover around that size.

I like the scale they are, the Classics Turtles are too dang big, being more of a 7 inch scale than 6 inch. I'll finally be done with Nursing School in December and regularly employed again so I hope o be able to get into these lines in the near future.

Yeah, the scale of the classic line, at least for the four dudes, is too big. I like to pose them (my figures) in Playmates vehicles and a 6 inch is a lot easier to fit inside compared to 7 inch and bigger. Another reason I love the new turtles from NECA with them being around 6 inch.

Definitely. Vehicles and the lair I've been working on works much better without looking out of scale with a 6 inch size than they do with the monster girth and height of the Classics Turtles.

Yeh even before the Figuarts appeared, I always thought the Classic Collection figures were too big. After all the Turtles (well at least in classic versions) are supposed to be around 5 feet tall. Not 6 feet.

Honestly I don't think Playmates planned them very well, doing any other characters (many of which would have to be around 7.5 to 8 inches tall to properly fit into the scale) never even crossed their mind, or they would have made the Turtles smaller. The fact that they'd already established a larger scale with the Turtles is likely part of why they were so reluctant to continue the line. Amongst many, MANY other mistakes they made of course...

Oh and you guys just reminded me, Tamashii Nations has done high-quality figure scale vehicles before (e.g. Masked Rider bikes and cars) so maybe, if everyone supports this line, just maybe we could get a high-quality, toon-accurate figure-scale Turtle Van one day. How amazing would that be?

Yeah I guess I understand why people want this to scale with their vehicles and sets. I just display figures so I never have to worry about those things.

I guess my mindset goes to how big this figure is with a 60$ price compared to what Neca is giving us for only 40$ more.

I can't be the only one who would love these at 12".

Never noticed how ridiculous the L on Playmates Leo's belt looks on the old Classic Figure. Looks like a capital I that somebody tried to edit last minute.

Today, I realized that I hadn't preordered these guys. I'd put the preorder in a basket, but forgot to process it!! I'd hate have been waiting for Turtles that I hadn't paid for.

Anyways, all is good now, order processed and confirmed.

I've tried, but I really just can not get into these and I usually love Figuarts stuff.
