Tbh, I don't mind that there aren't many TMNT memes around in comparison to other franchises. Memes can get overkill sometimes. Also, lots of memes are not that funny.

Not exactly tmnt, but I came up with this:

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Am kind of glad the original cartoon wasn't around for memes probably because I find them useless. Gifs now well that's different...

Have it your way. I have a gif version of the 'Krang face' Utrommaniac posted.

Spoiler:

Also have some bonus pie. Guess I should have posted it yesterday though, for Pi Day.

Boy, that pie gif would be really useful around here XD

I did realize that I could just combine the Krang Faces for ultimate silliness

For that "when you something hits you so hard, the feeling transcends dimensions" feeling

And finally, I realized something about that particular frame...it reminds me of that one Spongebob meme, but angry.

So I adjusted accordingly

A great many things can be done there...

I think TMNT is definitely meme-able but you really don't have many meme savvy people in a fandom primarily populated by 30 year old men.

In terms of inserting tmnt into other memes, one that I've always wanted to do is this one.

Krang or Shredder: There's only one thing worse than a ninja!
*Tears away hidden word below: "turtle"*
Rocksteady: A toitle
Krang or Shredder: No!

Probably for the same reason I don't write or type in text speak.

On a different note, I've created a pair of memorable memes.
  • Leonardo, no, No, NO!
  • Cowabunga, DOODS!

That's all I got.

I don't really know.

I just think they're funny.

"Something funny" isn't really what makes a meme. Rather, the ability to take something out of its original context, while also matching appropriately.

Such as Gru's Plan (which I call "Despicable Meme") or the Distracted Boyfriend

In order for a meme to work, it needs to be extremely flexible.
What you've done is make catchphrases. Which is not the same as a meme.

And a lot of the time, they come around by accident, or following in the footsteps of someone else's "recaptioning" until it spins out of control

I have no criticism for Rise. The image is taken from the trailer. I just added the word.

I guess I misunderstood. Sorry about that.

I've noticed my avatar is appropriate for...many of our regular situations.

So here's a Ma'riell Exhaustion for those moments when Krang Face just doesn't cut it for forum madness.

(My favorite part about this is that when it's just this on her own, it looks like she's at a bar hitting the cranberry juice a little too hard)
