But at the end of 2014 when Vern meets not-April under a secluded overpass for some random reason, he gets an odd look on his face before turning around when the Turtle van is driving up behind them. (As reminded when I came across it on tv this morning.)

I could never decide if he actually knew the Turtles would be there and was in on it and that's why he asked her to meet him in that particular spot. Makes sense that might be the case, because it's otherwise a pretty odd choice?

But if he was in on it, how did they manage to find each other again and trade contact info. (Or did they call him at work? lol) And why did the Turtles even need him as a go between to meet up with her again. She knew where they lived at that point and you'd think she'd have gone to check up on them all, esp to see how Splinter was doing.

I think the turtles asked them both to meet them under the bridge so they could show off the new van. Why ELSE meet in a semi-public place, with both April and Vernon there for the rendesvouz? They can't very well drive that thing around underground!

I dunno, when April shows up it seems to be that Vern asked her to meet him there and she didn't seem to expect the Turtles to show up. Vern however, hard to read that look on his face when he I guess either hears the van pulling up or is reacting to April looking at something behind him...

Is Goat Head, Colorado a real place? I know Chihaya is. Much like how Digimon fans visit Odaiba often, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans should go to visit Chihaya or maybe Northampton (New York has two Northamptons, actually.)

I've been listening to the closing songs of both Portal games and...I have so many TMNT associations with it that I don't know which match closer.

Still Alive is especially boggling

Is it best applied to Null or Bishop? EPF? Null Enterprises? TCRI? I don't know, it just reminds me of something within TMNT.

Did Mirage Splinter perhaps have an interest in Scottish culture? Could explain the use of a universal clan color in that canon.

Hmm...

New York-born and raised clan of Japanese warriors with Italian names and Scottish cultural influence...

And maybe a little American influence of "NINJAS ARE HEARTLESS KILLERS ONLY!" courtesy of Miller...

Given both Marvel Rising and DC Superhero Girls, how long do you think it will be before this franchise gets a female-aimed merch-driven subseries? What would it be like? Would it focus more on human ladies or mutant ladies, or equally both?

I’d say it should be equally both, with April, Karai, Shinigami, and Angel as major humans while Mona Lisa, Venus, Ninjara, and Alopex make up the main mutant characters. Possible later characters could include Mezecal, Mira, Starlee, Jessica Jaclyn, etc.

I wouldn't give much hope to the Archie characters, but maybe on the others.

But, since TMNT is pretty "niche" for the moment, I don't really see much happening for a while.

Given how Archie characters have indeed made the jump to other versions in recent years, I wouldn’t give up on them.
