Well she's a teenager, for her to be a reporter would have to mean she's part of the school newspaper which would totally work and be cool, better than "Just old boring teen April with forced Alien subplot to make her relevant" of the 2012 show.

I hope that she has at least interest in science, she already looks nerdy with her glasses, in fact I think she looks like a black Irma. But yeah, she should be interested in science even if not a scientist since she's just a teenager. The contrast of so much magic with Donatello and April being into science would be an interesting take.

I don't like it when a white character becomes black just as much as a black character becoming white.
If Al Simmons (Spawn) or Green Lantern Jon Steward became white i would've raged about it aswell.

Not gonna lie fellas... I'm in love with these designs. Except for Splinter, but I'm sure he'll grow on me once I see him in the show.

He did an impression of Splinter (which I'm assuming that might be his voice) on the livestream a few times.

Which is fine by me. I don't think him and 2k3 Splinter were too far apart in terms height.

I haven't watched the livestream yet, so I'll be sure to check it out.

Knowing though that Eric Bauza might be using his Tiger Claw voice for Splinter is something I'm glad for to happen. Even just looking at his picture, I think TC's voice would fit Rise Splinter quite well.
