You're not. It's been done in both comics and in the Spider-Man TAS cartoon.

Even though he had his ups and downs, the man had lived his life.

Rest in peace, Stan Lee.

The appearances yet to come.
https://screenrant.com/stan-lee-came...ast-confirmed/

Likely first to miss would be Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 which is currently in development hell. It would be cool if he could be inserted as The Watcher to put a cap on his appearances. Stan would approve!

His greatest cameo ever, hands down.

Agreed. That cameo may also have been my first introduction to Stan Lee.

I also remember him introducing episodes of Iron Man and Fantastic Four on the Marvel Super Hour or something like that.

I never realized his wife was the voice of Madame Web. Now it makes sense when she says "I think he's truly special" just after that clip. Very cool.

It was my introduction to comic creators in general. Before that I just saw names like Eastman and Laird and never really put any thought into it. This cameo opened me up to learning about the comic creators themselves.

After this I remember his narration of Playstation's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro.

Bill Maher made some comments that were disrespecting Stan Lee. And the comic book industry responded to it.

He's an anti-vaxxer, maybe the flu virus infected his brain and turned him into a dick?

Impossible, he was one already. I saw that, and have no respect for someone who disrespects a legend or his legacy like that. He should only BE so lucky to be remembered like Stan is!

The funny thing is how at that time, reding comics was considered dangerous. Many thought children could become violent.

And then "moral guardians" have pushed for the implementation of Hay's Code, which prohibit depiction of drugs, violence, sex...does it remind anyone about something going on this days?

Of course, video games. That's what I meant all the time.

The more things change - the more they stay the same.

Though, its funny how both factions, led by opposite ideologies, ultimately propose to the same outcome - censorship.
