Interesting, so you think the Neca figures were better overall. What about the translation to toy? Is Neca look more Mirage to you? I like what they did, but I think on looks alone, Mondo got closer, maybe? Should Neca revisit the Mirage years? |

My favourite figures I own are the original NECA mirage figures. Robust, nice size, good paint job and great accessories.
I do think you should include the Revoltechs in this poll though. You said earlier something like "isn't their price prohibitive" yet you have the $100 large NECA figures and the $200 NECA box set!!? The Revoltechs were only like $40 each, which is great for what they are. However....original NECA Mirage still my favourites.

I voted for the Mirage NECA figures. The joints on all of mine are perfect, I love the sculpt, and they weren't expensive when they were new. Obviously a legit set now will cost you some money, but truthfully I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a bootleg set, they are still great figures. Plus now that they finally released the foot clan set to go along with them thats 4 awesome baddies to display with the set. Also you can still pick up April for a decent price and she comes with a couple of mousers.
My favorite figures and my second vote would be the 1/4 NECA movie figures. They come with some joint issues though, but as far as collectible items they are my favorite TMNT items period. I put a drop of glue on each ones ankle joint when I get them and that solved my issues of them falling, not ideal but I'll sacrifice the ankle movement for peace of mind that my $100 figure wont fall and break. Also the accessory market for them is fantastic, you can buy 1/4 scale Domino's pizza boxes, the straw hat for Donny, skateboards, a turtle wax jar for Mikey, the "Ninja Rap" newspaper, I mean you name it and someones selling it. The head sculpt on these is on point and you can tell a lot of love has gone into this line with things like the 4 baby turtle accessory pack coming out. My least favorite thing was they made Leo's swords out of scale and way too long, but thats an easy fix if it bothers the buyer. I do hope we get a 6-7" version at some point as these are the only figures I'll ever own in 1/4 scale.
